Killing sites

1. Andaung Ta Sun and Chamkar Kao Sou Lekh 2 sites
In the year 2001, I got information from this site already. Now, I do with this site again. I spent about 2 hours to work a that site. I talked with two local people. Nget Luch, 55, secretary of Lekh 1 village, Chamkar Andaung commune, told my team that Andaung Ta Sun was dug up in between 1981 and 1983. The purpose was finding goals. I didn't go to see this Andaung, but according to Mapping team report in 2001, this Andaung contains 12 meters deep and 1.5 meter square. People in Lekh 1 village have kept this well free since the well was dug up. At Chamkar Kao Sou Lekh 2, Neak Tok, 62, live in lekh 1 village, told that he saw 10 pits stand at this site. Among that site. Among that site, there were two big sites. He know that Khmer Rouge cadres killed many people at those pit. Now, he say that those site were dug up and cannot find remains.
2. Chamkar Ta Pom site
I saw this site when Sin Khin made interview with many people in Chamkar Ta Pom village. Some planes and houses were built and grown full of this site. Mao Ed, 69, people who live in Chamkar Ta Pom village, said that her house build on the pit. She points me a pit that she keep some materials on it. San Yon, 62, live in Chamkar Ta Pom village village, descript that Chamkar Ta Pom was very large place to kill people. She continued that all pits were dug up.
3. Kuk Mitt Sao, Wat Por Pren, Prey Trapeang Kok Sam and Trapeang Khnar sites
All these site located in Speu commune and close to each other. I asked many people who work at wat Por Pren. Those people told me that Wat Por Pren and Kuk Mitt Sao were used as Khmer Rouge prisons. Prey Trapeang Kok Sam and Trapeang Khnar, Khmer Rouge used as killing sites. These two killing sites were already dug up in 1982 for picking bones and skulls to keep at Memorial in wat Por Pren. Pann Nha, 61, Chief of Peng Meas Cheung village told that this memorial was used for making ceremony in May 20.
4. Chamkar Svay Channty site
In 2001, surrounding this site, I was too much forests grow on it, but now when I saw it again, it is very different. I cannot remember that site when I arrived at that site. When I asked people nearby this place, they told and pointed to the factory that" this is a killing field place in Chamkar Svay Channty". However, we cannot find find pits that no dig before because now everywhere in the factory place has a lot of rubber tree.
5. Lo M 18 site
This site was already dug up for finding foals. The oldest people among many people in a large house named Sim Ly, live in Ta Ong commune, told that many people who live around rubber plantation got goals from the cloths in pits after they dug it.
KOMPONG SIEM DISTRICT
In Kompong Siem district, there are only three sites located on it.
1. Wat Nor Kor site
In June this year, my team and forensic team were worked on it already.
2. Wat Phnom Bros site
Some people said that all mass graves and pit were dug up between 1982 and 1983. The remains were kept at wat Nor Kor, far about 3 Kilometers from Wat Phnom Pros. No pits that no body dig it.
3. Kok Pring site
I drove about 9 kilometers from the national road number 6A reach the site Kok Pring. I didn't go to that site because of that site was dug up already. If went I need to have a boat and must to walk about 300 meters to reach on the site of Kok Pring.
PREY CHHOR DISTRICT
I'm sorry that I cannot descript some more detail what I got from the local people, because now is nearly close the E-mail center.
I found all sites that Mapping team has found before white many small sites which I got it today. Sin Khin and I tried to ask people, village and commune chief about the pits that have not yet dug up. But I got the negative answer from them. The same answer of those people are digging gaols.
KANG MEAS DISTRICT
There are two big sites in the list (Wat O Trakuon and Wat Nikrot) that we got before. Now, I found one new site (Wat Prey Krabao) more on it. People who work and stay at pagodas said that there are not many site beside these three sites at Peam Chikang commune. At other commune, there have wavy roads and cut down by flooding water. I think that we should not go because we spent too much time for travelling.
LA VILLAGE, KAONG KANG COMMUNE
1. Andaung Ta vet (behind his house)
This well contains 5-6 meters deep and 1.5 meters square. The most of victims in the well Sou Phim's solders and no female.
2. Andaung Ta Kham (close to his house)
This well contains 6-7 meters deep and 1.5 meters square. The most of victims in that well were Sou Phim's soldiers and no female.

3. Andaung Yeay Yat (behind her house)
This well contains 6 meters deep and 1.5 meter square. The most of victims in the well were female (Maybe they were mobile works brigade.
4. Andaung Year Nha (close to his house)
There are two close to each other. these well contains 6-7 meters deep and 1.5 meter square. The most of victims int that well were Sou Phim's soldiers and no female.
STUNG TAUCH VILLAGE KAKK COMMUNE
There are two pits (at least 3 meters square) have not been dug up yet. Kung Ket, 40, live in Stung Tauch village said that he has seen these pits since 1979.
