Va Sarin is PTSD victim. She got married in 1982. Her husband called Nget Rithy. She has 6 children, but one of them died. She has 6 siblings, but one of them died around 1990. Her father called Va Nam. Va Nam was sent to kill in the Khmer Rouge regime. Her mother called Phou Nai. Phou Nai is now 76 years old. In the Khmer Rouge regime, she was lacking of food, medical care,and shelter. She was in combat situation. She used to be brainwashed. She was close to death. She was separted from her family members. She was in a situation where her life was in danger. She has been suffocated from 2000 until now. She was beaten on the head in 1973. She used to loose consciouness for several times[1hour or 1hour and a half each time]. Recently, she has recurrent thoughts of the most hurtful events. She feels withdrawn from people. She finds it is difficult in concentrating. She feels on guard. She is avoiding activities that remind her of the traumatic events.She is not able to remember parts of the most traumatic events. She is lacking of interest in the daily activities. She is avoiding thoughs associated with the traumatic experience. She is sudden emotional when reminded of the most hurful events. She finds it is difficult in performing her daily tasks. She blames herself for things that have happened. She feels hopelessness. She feels ashamed of the hurtful events that have happened to her. She spends time thinking about why those events happened to her. She feels as if she is going crazy. She feels as someone she trusted betrayed her.
វ៉ា សារិនមានជំងឺបាក់ស្បាត។ គាត់រៀបការនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៨២។ ប្ដីរបស់គាត់ឈ្មោះង៉ែត រិទ្ធី។ គាត់មានកូន៦នាក់ ប៉ុនែ្ដម្នាក់ស្លាប់។ គាត់មានបងប្អូន៦នាក់ ប៉ុនែ្ដម្នាក់ស្លាប់នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៩០។ ឪពុកឈ្មោះវ៉ា ណាំ។ វ៉ា ណាំត្រូវខែ្មរក្រហមបញ្ជូនទៅសម្លាប់។ ម្ដាយឈ្មោះ ភូ ណៃ បច្ចុប្បន្នអាយុ៧៦ឆ្នាំ។ នៅសម័យខែ្មរក្រហម គាត់ខ្វះខាតម្ហូបម្ហា ថ្នាំពេទ្យ និងជម្រកស្នាក់នៅ។ គាត់ប្រយុទ្ធតស៊ូនៅក្នុងសមរភូមិ។ គាត់ត្រូវគេផ្លាស់ប្ដូរអប់រំគំនិត។ គាត់ជិតតែនឹងត្រូវស្លាប់ខ្លួន។ គាត់ត្រូវខែ្មរក្រហមបំបែកចេញពីសមាជិកគ្រួសារដោយបង្ខំ។ គាត់ជួបស្ធានការណ៍ដែលគួរឱ្យរន្ធត់បានធើ្វឱ្យជីវិតរបស់គាត់ជួបនូវគ្រោះថ្នាក់។ គាត់មានអការៈថប់ដង្ហើមពីឆ្នាំ ២០០០រហូតមកដល់បច្ចុប្បន្ន។ គាត់ត្រូវគេវាយត្រូវក្បាលនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣។ គាត់ធ្លាប់សន្លប់២ ទៅដងឪម្ដងមានរយៈពេលពី១ ទៅ១ម៉ោងកន្លះឱ។ បច្ចុប្បន្ន គាត់ចេះតែធើ្វឱ្យនឹកឃើញជារឿយៗទៅដល់ហេតុការណ៍ដ៏ឈឺចាប់ជាទីបំផុត។ គាត់គិតថាមិនរវីរវល់ចង់ជួបអ្នកដទៃ។ គាត់ពិបាកក្នុងការប្រមូលអារម្មណ៍គិតទៅលើអី្វមួយ។ គាត់ចេះតែមានអារម្មណ៍ប្រុងខ្លួនជាប់ជានិច្ច។ គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងនូ្វងសកម្មភាពណាដែលធើ្វឱ្យគាត់នឹកដល់ហេតុការណ៍ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដ។ គាត់ពុំអាចនឹកឃើញបានល្អិតល្អន់នូវហេតុការណ៍ដ៏ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដឬពោរពេញដោយការឈឺចាប់។ គាត់ពុំសូវចាប់អារម្មណ៍នឹងសកម្មភាពរាល់ថៃ្ងរបស់គាត់។ គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងមិនឱ្យគិតអំពីហេតុការណ៍ដ៏ក្រៀក្រំចិត្ដ។ គាត់ស្រាប់តែមានប្រតិកម្មនៅក្នុងចិត្ដពេលនឹកឃើញដល់ហេតុការណ៍គួរឱ្យឈឺចាប់។ គាត់មានការលំបាកនៅក្នុងការបំពេញមុខងារប្រចាំថៃ្ង។ គាត់ស្ដីបន្ទោសខ្លួនឯងចំពោះរឿងរ៉ាវដែលបានកើតមាន។ គាត់អស់ង្ឃឹម។ គាត់គិតថាគួរឱ្យអៀនខ្មាស់អំពីហេតុការណ៍ដ៏ឈឺចាប់របស់គាត់។ គាត់ចេះតែចំណាយពេលគិតហើយឆ្ងល់ថាហេតុអី្វបានជាហេតុការណ៍ឈឺចាប់ទាំងអស់នេះកើតមានឡើងចំពោះគាត់។ គាត់គិតថាហាក់ដូចជាចង់ឆ្កួត។ គាត់គិតថានរណាម្នាក់ដែលជាទីទុកចិត្ដរបស់គាត់បានក្បត់ចិត្ដនឹងគាត់។
