I, Sman El, witnessed such atrocious crimes – people were being loaded onto carts like banana trees piled on top of one another and then taken away. When I asked the people in charge, they told me nothing. I saw this incident in Chroy Thma Village, Prek Pha-Sap District, Chambakk Commune, Kratie Province. The incident I saw took place during the rainy season. I want to state that I did not witness other crimes, aside from the above-mentioned crime, because I was busy, carrying soil, plowing fields, and making cart wheels.
