Australian Broadcasting Corporation called on the US administration to assist 40,000 Cambodian refugees in Thai camps. Manila Radios : More and more Cambodian refugees fled to Thailand. The Phnom Penh dwellers suffering from the harsh situation were compelled to rural areas. Many people were dead along the road and forced to walk fast, not enough drinking water and medicine. Consequently, cholera was spreading throughout Cambodia and the Khmer Rouge killed those who refused to leave.
វិទ្យុអូស្ដ្រាលី៖ អំពាវនាវឱ្យរដ្ឋាភិបាលអាមេរិកឱ្យជួយស្រោចស្រង់ ជនភៀសខ្លួនកម្ពុជា ៤មុឺននាក់ នៅជម្រុំថៃ។ វិទ្យុម៉ានីល៖ ជន ភៀសខ្លួនកម្ពុជាទៅដល់ថៃច្រើនថែមទៀត។ ទុក្ខវេទនារបស់មនុស្ស ដែលខ្មែរក្រហមបង្ខំឱ្យចេញពីភ្នំពេញទៅជនបទមនុស្សច្រើននាក់ស្លាប់ តាមផ្លូវត្រូវគេបង្ខំឱ្យដើរឱ្យលឿន ខ្វះបាយទឹកថ្នាំសង្កូវ ខ្មែរក្រហម សំលាប់អ្នកដែលមិនព្រមទៅ និង មានជម្ងឺអាសន្នរោគនៅច្រើនកន្លែង ក្នុងកម្ពុជា។
