Australian Broadcasting Corporation : In June 8, Refugee Sub-Committee of the US Senate criticized K-4 for having no concrete plans for South Vietnamese and Cambodian refugees. One fourth of 140,000 Indo-chinese refugees lived in a miserable condition in Keam Island. Senator Kenyady, Sub-Committee Chairman, made an appeal for the US administration to forge diplomatic relations with South Vietnam and Cambodia. Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported on the vulnerable plight of 34,000 Indochinese refugees were easily suffered by sea storm in the country. The amount of refugees to be taken from the island to the US was even lesser, whilst 1,300 refugees wanted to go back. Unfortunately, they had to wait for many months more. Manila radio and Australian Broadcasting Corporation: Phnom Penh radio broadcast that the Khmer Rouge prohibited foreign languages, but enhanced the Khmer language.
វិទ្យុអេប៊ីស៊ី៖ ថៃទី្ង៨ មិថុនា អនុគណៈកម្មការជនភៀសខ្លួនរបស់ព្រឹទ្ធ សភាអាមេរិកទិទៀនរដ្ឋការហ្វ័រ ពីរឿងកង្វះខាតផែនការណ៍ចំពោះជន ភៀសខ្លួនវៀតណាមខាងត្បូង និង កម្ពុជា។ មួយភាគបួននៃជនភៀស ខ្លួនឥណ្ឌូចិន ១៤មុឺននាក់ រស់យ៉ាងត្រដាបត្រដួសនៅកោះគាម។ ព្រឹទ្ធ សមាជិកកិនយ៉ាឌី ប្រធានអនុគណៈកម្មការអំពាវនាវឱ្យអាមេរិកដាក់ការ ទាក់ទងទូតជាមួយវៀតណាមខាងត្បូង និង កម្ពុជា។ វិទ្យុអូស្ដ្រាលី៖ រាយការណ៍អំពីកំរិតយ៉ាប់យឺុននៃជនភៀសខ្លួន ឥណ្ឌូចិន ៣៤,០០០ នាក់ ដែលអាចរងគ្រោះដោយព្យុះសមុទ្រក្នុងរដ្ឋនេះ។ ចំនួនជនដឹក ចេញពីកោះនេះទៅកាន់អាមេរិកកាន់តែតិចទៅៗ ជនភៀសខ្លួន ១,៣០០នាក់ សុំទៅស្រុកវិញ តែចាំច្រើនខែទៀត។ វិទ្យុម៉ានីល និង អូស្ដ្រាលី៖ វិទ្យុភ្នំពេញផ្សាយថា ខ្មែរក្រហម ឈប់ឱ្យប្រើភាសា បរទេសទាំងអស់ ហើយលើតម្កើងភាសាប្រពៃណីជាតិ។
