Sokh Yan, Secretary of Batalion 234, Regiment 23, Division 290, confessed that Heang was a member of the Free Khmer. On September 30, 1976 Heang joined the meeting and received a plan from Yin Sean, cadre of Battalion 234, to attack the party.
សុខ យ៉ន លេខាវរសេនាតូច ២៣៤ វរសេនាធំ ២៣ កងពល ២៩០ បានឆ្លើយថា ហ៊ាង ជាខ្មែរសេរី។ ហ៊ាង បានចូលរួមប្រជុំ ទទួលផែនការវាយបក្សថ្ងៃ៣០ ខែកញ្ញា ឆ្នាំ ១៩៧៦ ពីឈ្មោះ យិន ស៊ាន កម្មាភិបាលវរសេនាតូច ២៣៤។
