On Monday, July 21, 1975, Japanese radios broadcast that Samdech Norodom Sihanouk paid a visit to Korea and possibly returned to Cambodia in September. Thai Foreign Minister said Cambodia inclined to have diplomatic relations with Thailand, but, until now, there was no contact between the two. Australian Broadcasting Corporation broadcast that the Cambodian refugees, who just recently fled to Thailand, could be considered initial witnesses of the massacre in Cambodia. 100 refugees just crossed the Cambodian-Thai border.
កាលពីថ្ងៃច័ន្ទទី២១ កក្កដា ១៩៧៥ វិទ្យុប្រទេសជប៉ុនបានផ្សាយ ថាសមេ្ដចនរោត្ដមសីហនុ កំពុងទស្សនកិច្ចនៅប្រទេសកូរ៉េ ប្រហែល ត្រឡប់មកកម្ពុជាវិញក្នុងខែកញ្ញា នេះ។ រដ្ឋមន្ដ្រីការបរទេសថៃថា កម្ពុជាចង់មានការទាក់ទងទូតជាផ្លូវការជាមួយថៃ តែមកដល់ថ្ងៃនេះ ប្រទេសទាំងពីរ មិនទាន់បានទាក់ទងគ្នាទេ។ វិទ្យុអូស្ដ្រាលីផ្សាយថា ជនភៀសខ្លួន កម្ពុជាដែលទើបរត់រួចចេញពីកម្ពុជា ទៅដល់ប្រទេសថៃ នេះ អាចចាត់ ទុកជាកសិណសាក្សីដំបូងនៃអំពើសម្លាប់រង្គាលនៅ កម្ពុជា ហើយជនភៀសខ្លួនកម្ពុជាដែលទើបរត់ឆ្លងរួចព្រំដែនកម្ពុជា-ថៃមានចំនួន ១០០នាក់។
