Uy Im got married to Chea Sam in 1940s. He got married when he was 22 years old. He has 7 children, but five of them died. His father called Uy, but died when Im was very young. His mother called Chea died because of deceases of old age. Two of Uy Im's siblings died during the Khmer Rouge regime. In the Khmer Rouge regime, he was lacking of food, water, medical care. He was brainwashed. He was close to death. He was forced to separate from his family members. He saw the unnatural death of his family and friend. Recently, he feels as though the event is happening again. He has trouble sleeping. She is avoiding activities that remind him of the traumatic events. He is avoiding thought associated with the traumatic experience. He is sudden emotional. He spends time thinking about why these events happened to him.
អ៊ុយ អ៊ឹមរៀបការជាមួយជា សំនៅកំឡុងឆ្នាំ១៩៤០។ គាត់រៀបការនៅពេលអាយុ២២ឆ្នាំ។ គាត់មានកូន៧នាក់ ប៉ុនែ្ដ៥នាក់ស្លាប់។ ឪពូកឈ្មោះអ៊ុយ ប៉ុនែ្ដស្លាប់នៅពេលដែលអ៊ឹមនៅកេ្មងម៉្លេះ។ ម្ដាយឈ្មោះជាស្លាប់ដោយសារជរាពាធ។ បងប្អូនអ៊ុយ អ៊ឹមពីរនាក់ស្លាប់នៅក្នុងសម័យខែ្មរក្រហម។ នៅក្នុងសម័យខែ្មរក្រហម គាត់ខ្វះខាតម្ហូបម្ហា ទឹក ថ្នាំពេទ្យព្យាបាល។ គាត់ត្រូវគេអប់រំអោយផ្លាស់ប្ដូរគំនិត។ គាត់ជិតតែនឹងត្រូវស្លាប់ខ្លួន។ គាត់ត្រូវគេបំបែកចេញពីសមាជិកគ្រួសារដោយបង្ខំ។ គាត់ធ្លាប់ឃើញការស្លាប់ខុសពីធម្មតានៃក្រុមគ្រួសារឬមិត្ដភ័ក្រ្ដ។ បច្ចុប្បន្ន គាត់គិតថាហាក់ដូចជាព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ទាំងនោះកំពុងតែកើតមានឡើងថ្មីៗ។ គាត់ពិបាកក្នុងការទទួលទានដំណេក។ គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងនូវសកម្មភាពណាដែលធើ្វឱ្យគាត់នឹកដល់ព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ដែលពោរពេញដោយការឈឺចាប់របស់គាត់។ គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងមិនឱ្យគិតអំពីព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ដ៏ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដរបស់គាត់។ គាត់បណ្ដាលឱ្យមានប្រតិកម្មក្នុងចិត្ដមួយរំពេចពេលនឹកឃើញដល់ព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ឈឺចាប់របស់គាត់។ គាត់ចេះតែធើ្វឱ្យគាត់ចំណាយពេលគិតឆ្ងល់ថាហេតុអី្វបានជាហេតុការណ៍ទាំងនោះកើតមានចំពោះគាត់។
