Im Peou, alias Meng, male, was born in 1956 and disappeared. Interviewed with his 54-year-old elder sister, Im Noeun; Peou៌s father was Heang and his mother was Derng. Peou has 7 siblings [5 girls + 2 boys], and he was born Kang Ta Ning 5 village, Kang Ta Ning sub-district, Kang Meas district, Kampong Cham province. When he was a child, Peou studied until grade 9 [in the old system] at Wat Kang Ta Ning Primary School. After dropping out of school, Peou came to help his parents in rice field. It was in 1974 that the village chief forced Poeu to serve the revolutionary movement. It៌s also difficult even we denied; in addition, his parents didn៌t want to let him go. When he first joined the revolution, Peou was a militiaman in Kang Ta Ning sub-district. He was then promoted as a soldier and sent to the front line in order to fight with Lon Nol soldiers. It was in 1975 that Peou came back to visit his home village, and he told that he was a soldier in Phnom Penh. At that time, his parents chatted with him that they really wanted him to be safe all the time. After staying only one night, Peou returned to Phnom Penh. In 1979, Chhoeun , who lived in the same village and joined the revolution with Peou, told that Peou died in the battlefield. A reason why Poeu died was that he was incidentally shot to death by the same soldiers while patrolling at night because of confusion. Thus, Chhoeun took Peou៌s body to cremate by himself. Since that time, Poeu has never returned to his home village; in addition, it was believed that Peou has already passed away. If he was survived, he would return to his home village. And, Noeun, during the KR regime from 1975 to 1979, was assigned by Angkar to work in the mobile unit. Her life at that time was very difficult because she worked very hard and had no time to rest; in addition, she sometimes worked at night. It was in 1977 that Noeun witnessed militiamen tied, walked and killed new people by Khmer Rouge soldiers in Tuol Vihear located in Kang Ta Ning sub-district. Among of the new people who were killed by KR soldiers were her elder brother and his family evacuated from Phnom Penh.
អ៊ឹម ពៅ ហៅ ម៉េង ភេទប្រុស កើតឆ្នាំ១៩៥៦ បាត់ខ្លួន។ ជួបជាមួយឈ្មោះ អ៊ឹម នឿន អាយុ ៥៤ឆ្នាំ ត្រូវជាបងស្រី។ ពៅ មានឪពុកឈ្មោះ ហ៊ាង ម្ដាយឈ្មោះ ដើង មានបងប្អូន៧នាក់ ប្រុស ៥ស្រី២ មានស្រុកកំណើតនៅភូមិកងតាណឹងទី៥ ឃុំកងតាណឹង ស្រុកកងមាស ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ ពៅ កាលពីតូចរៀននៅ សាលាបឋមសិក្សាវត្ដកងតាណឹងត្រឹមថ្នាក់៩ឪចាស់ឱ។ ពៅ ឈប់រៀនមកជួយធ្វើ ស្រែចម្ការឪពុកម្ដាយ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ពៅ ត្រូវប្រធានភូមិហៅឱ្យចូលបម្រើចលនាបដិវត្ដ កាល នោះ បើយើងប្រកែកក៏ពិបាកដែរ ឪពុកម្ដាយក៏មិនចង់ឱ្យទៅតែ ជំនាន់នោះមិនបានទេ មុនដំបូងធ្វើជាកង ឈ្លបនៅត្រឹមឃុំកង តាណឹង ក្រោយមកអង្គការបញ្ជូនឱ្យទៅធ្វើជាយោធាឡើងទៅ សមរភូមិមុខវាយជា មួយទាហាន លន់ នល់។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ ពៅ បានត្រឡប់មកលេងស្រុកកំណើតហើយបានដឹងថាធ្វើ ជាយោធានៅភ្នំពេញ ហើយឪពុកម្ដាយបាននិយាយលេងជា មួយកូន ចង់ឱ្យកូនមានសេចក្ដីសុខ ពេល នោះសម្រាកបានតែ មួយយប់ទេ ក៏ត្រឡប់ទៅភ្នំពេញវិញ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩ ឈ្មោះ ឈឿន ដែល រស់នៅក្នុងភូមិជាមួយគ្នាហើយបានចូលធ្វើ ជាយោធាជាមួយឈ្មោះ ពៅ ដែរ បានដឹងថា ពៅ ស្លាប់ នៅក្នុងសមរភូមិហើយ ព្រោះពេលយាមពេលយប់ហៅច្រឡំ ក៏យោធាគ្នាឯងបាញ់ច្រឡំស្លាប់ទៅឈ្មោះ ឈឿន បានយក ទៅដុតផ្ទាល់ដៃ តាំងពីនោះមកក៏មិនឃើញ ពៅ ត្រឡប់មកស្រុក កំណើតមែន ជឿ ថាស្លាប់ហើយ បើនៅរស់ពិតជាមករកស្រុក កំណើតហើយ។ រីឯ ឈ្មោះ នឿន ជំនាន់ខែ្មរក្រហម ពីឆ្នាំ១៩ ៧៥ដល់៧៩ អង្គការចាត់តាំងឱ្យធ្វើការនៅក្នុងកងចល័តរស់នៅ ពិបាកវេទនាណាស់ ធ្វើការ គ្មានពេលសម្រាក ជួនណាធ្វើការ យប់ទៀត។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៧ ឃើញយោធាខែ្មរក្រហមចងបណ្ដើរ ប្រជាជនថ្មីយកទៅសម្លាប់ចោល ក្នុងនោះមានបងបង្កើតឈ្មោះ សឿន និងក្រុមគ្រួសារដែលជម្លៀស មកពីភ្នំពេញ ត្រូវយោធា ខែ្មរក្រហមយកទៅសម្លាប់នៅតួវិហារស្ថិតនៅក្នុងឃុំកង
