Lang Leng aka So, 29, was born in Stoeng Prayol village, Mien sub-district, Prey Chhor district, Region 41, Northern zone. Between June 1970 and 1971, So linked with networks of Chhan, police officer, after he was convinced to join the Free Khmer by Sreng, introducer, and Sreng, nominator. In late 1972, So cooperated with Say to join in activities to destroy revolutionary forces in villages. In January 1977, after the Angkar had decided to fight into Vienam, So's networks joined the meeting to assign their networkls to report that to Vietnamese.
ឈ្មោះ ឡាង ឡេង ហៅ សូ អាយុ២៩ឆ្នាំ ស្រុកកំណើតកើត នៅ ភូមិស្ទឹងប្រយោល សង្កាត់មៀន ស្រុកព្រៃឈរ តំបន់៤១ ឧត្ដរ។ នៅឆ្នាំ ១៩៦៩ សូ ធ្វើគិញឱ្យសកិ្ក៣ ឈ្មោះ ចាប ហើយនិង មានគ្នីគ្នាដូចជា ឈ្មោះ អុន និង ឃ្លាំង។ ដល់ខែ៦ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧០ ដល់ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ សូរបានភ្ជាប់ខ្សែជាមួយប៉ូលីសឈ្មោះ ចាន់ ក្រោយមកបានចូលខ្មែរសេរី ដែលមានឈ្មោះ សេ្រង ជាអ្នកអប់ រំកសាង ហើយ សេ្រង បានឧទេ្ទសនាម សូរ ឱ្យទៅ វឿន។ នៅ ចុងឆ្នាំ ១៩៧២ សូរ បានភ្ជាប់ខ្សែជាមួយ សយ ដើម្បីរួម សកម្មភាពបំផ្លាញកម្លាំងបដិវត្ដនៅតាមភូមិ។ នៅខែ១ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៧ ពេលដែលអង្គការសំរេចឱ្យវាយយួនចេញពីដែនដីកម្ពុជា ពេលនោះ បក្សពួករបស់ សូ បានប្រជុំហើយចល័តគ្នាឱ្យចូលទៅប្រាប់យួន។
