He was allegedly a spy tracing Khmer Rouge in 1967. In 1970, he joined the Khmer Rouge revolution with the rank of the Military Chief of Staff of Region 11. He led troops to the battle field and reported to the enemy side to shell his troops, encouraged people and combatants to flee to Thailand, embezzled food supplies and instructed female hospital workers not to take care of or treat military patients of the KR, to undermine this force. He was arrested on 30 November 1976.
គាត់( ព្រំ គី) ជាចារកិច្ចតាមដានខ្មែរក្រហមនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៦៧។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧០ គាត់បានចូលរួមបដិវត្ដន៍ខ្មែរក្រហមជាមួយនឹងឋានៈមេបញ្ជាការយោធា តំបន់១១។ គាត់បានដឹកនាំកងទ័ពថ្មើរជើងទៅសមភូមិ និង បានរាយការណ៍ទៅខាងសត្រូវ ដើម្បីវាយប្រហារកងទ័ពថ្មើរជើងរបស់គាត់ គាត់បានលើកទឹកចិត្ដប្រជាជន និង យុទ្ធជនឱ្យរត់គេចទៅប្រទេសថៃ កេងបន្លំនូវជំនួយអាហារ និងបានណែនាំពេទ្យស្រីមិនឱ្យមើលថែ ឬក៏ព្យាបាលយោធារបួសរបស់ខ្មែរក្រហម ដើម្បីបំផ្លាញកងកម្លាំងនេះ។ គាត់(ព្រំ គី) បានចាប់ខ្លួននៅថ្ងៃទី៣០ ខែវិច្ឆិកា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៦។
