District Samrong forces were about 600, including economic forces, messengers, and scouts. Only 500 troops were combative divided into three companies and for raid operating. Company K-2 was assistant forces, but in 1974 company K-2 and Ph-7 were sent to battlefield too. Ta Houy was a military chief in Sam Rong district.
កងទ័ពស្រុកសំរោងមានចំនួនប្រហែល៦០០ ដោយគិតទាំងក្រុម សេដ្ឋកិច្ច នីរសា និងកងស៊ើបការផង យុទ្ធជនដែលចុះទៅសមរភូមិមាន ប្រហែល៥០០នាក់។ ចែកជា៣អនុសេនាធំ ហើយបានចែកយុទ្ធជន ធ្វើប្រតិបត្ដិការទុកឱ្យវាយលុក ចំណែកឯកងអនុសេនាធំគ-២ គេទុកសម្រាប់ជាជំនួយ។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ គេយកកងអនុសេនាធំគ-២ និងផ-៧ទៅកាន់សមរភូមិដែរ។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ តាហួយ ប្រធានយោធា រួមប្រចាំស្រុកសំរោង។
