On October 23, 1973, there were about 200 to 300 Khmer rebels travelled from Kan Daok sub-district to Wat Setbo by 20 boats. And at the same time, about 300 Khmer rebels moved from Sa-ang district and Prek Chheu in order to make trenches in Prek Thmey sub-district and Setbo sub-district in Sa-ang district. The Khmer rebels sent 200 forces to Koh Anlung Chen to ambush the national forces. These enemies attempted to attack on Ta Khmao and Phnom Penh.
នៅថ្ងៃទី២៣ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ មានខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមប្រហែល២០០នាក់ ទៅ៣០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធ បានធ្វើចលនាតាមទូកកាណូត២០ គ្រឿង ចេញពីសង្កាត់កណ្ដោកឆ្ពោះទៅវត្ដសិត្បូ។ នៅថ្ងៃដដែលនោះ មានខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមចំនួន៣០០នាក់ទៀត បានឡើងមកពីម្ដុំស្រុកស្អាង និង ព្រែកឈើ ចូលមកជីកលេណដ្ឋានម្ដុំព្រែកថ្មី និងវត្ដសិត្បូ សង្កាត់សិត្បូ ស្រុកស្អាង។ ខ្មាំងខាងលើបានបញ្ជូនគ្នាវា២០០នាក់ឱ្យទៅត្រៀមខ្លួន លើកោះអន្លង់ចិន ដើម្បីចាំស្ទាក់វាយកងទ័ពយើងកុំឱ្យធ្វើប្រតិ បត្ដិកាបាន។ គោលបំណងវាប្រុងវាយចូលតាខ្មៅ និងភ្នំពេញ។
