Kin Phun , was a Mekong regiment economic agent. He used to be indoctrinated with revolutionary theory. River Mekong regiment was an interim regiment which didn't have number and was divided into 3 battalions(18, 260, 265). The regiment made up of 450 combatants, they stayed in residents home. Some were in Prek Angdaung village and some were in Pormit village; And its duty was to ambush national army forces and shipment convoy which sailed from Phnom Penh along River Mekong. River Mekong regiment was positioned in region 25 special zone. The people in this region were not satified with Angkar communist because they forced people to work together, and removed all freedom. The army's spirit was very week because they faced all of difficulties, especially they were afraid of bomb from national air forces.
ឃិន ផុន ជាភ្នាក់ងារសេដ្ឋកិច្ចវរៈរួមទនេ្លមេគង្គ។ ផុន ធ្លាប់បានទទួលការ បំពាក់បំប៉នទ្រឹស្ដីបដិវត្ដ។វរៈរួមទនេ្លមេគង្គគឺជា ឈ្មោះកងវរសេនាធំ បណ្ដោះអាសន្នមួយដែលមិនទាន់មានលេខ ហើយចែកជា៣កងវរសេនា តូច(១៨, ២៦០ និង២៦៥)ដែលមាន កងទ័ពទាំងអស់៤៥០នាក់ រាយគ្នានៅតាមផ្ទះអ្នកស្រុកក្នុងភូមិព្រែក អណ្ដូងខ្លះទៀតនៅក្នុងភូមិ ពោធ៍មិត្ដ។កងឯកភាពនេះមានភារៈកិច្ចបាន ស្កាត់កងនាវាកងទ័ពជាតិ និងការពួនស្ទាក់បាញ់ក្បួននាវាដឹកជញ្ជូន សម្ភារឡើងតាមដងទនេ្លមេគង្គ មកភ្នំពេញ។ កងវរៈរួមទនេ្លមេគង្គនេះប្រចាំការនៅក្នុងតំបន់ ២៥ ភូមិភាគពិសេស។ នៅក្នុងតំបន់នេះមានប្រជាជនភាគច្រើនមិនពេញចិត្ដ នឹងអង្គការកុម្មុយនិស្ដនេះឡើយព្រោះពួកវាបង្ខំឱ្យធ្វើការរួមបំបិទសិទ្ធ សេរីភាពគ្រប់យ៉ាង។ ចំពោះទឹកចិត្ដយុទ្ធជនវិញមានការធ្លាក់ចុះច្រើនព្រោះ ត្រូវរងការលំបាកវេទនាគ្រប់បែបយ៉ាង ហើយម្យ៉ាងទៀតពួកគេខ្លាច សង្គ្រាមយ៉ាងខ្លាំងព្រោះមានការទម្លាក់គ្រាប់បែកពីសំណាក់ កងទ័ពជាតិ អាកាស។
