Sarun was a chief and responsible for politics in region 31, zone 401. There were six districts in this region. 1.Kampong Leng district (16) Sampat,chief. 2.Kampong Tralach(18) Uong, chief. 3.Ralea Pa-ear(20) Hit, chief. 4.Tikphos(14) Ouk, chief. 5.Kampong Tralachleu(12) Yim, chief. 6.Baribo(10) Rin, chief of district. There was a battalion 101 which had 322 combatants, equipped with weapons in this district.
នៅក្នុងតំបន់ ៣១ ភូមិភាគនិរតី(៤០១)មានឈ្មោះសារុនជាប្រធាន និងជាអ្នកទទួលបន្ទុកខាងផ្នែកនយោបាយផង។ ក្នុងតំបន់នេះមាន៦ស្រុកគឺ ១.ស្រុកកំពង់លែង(១៦) ឈ្មោះសំប៉ាត ប្រធាន, ២.កំពង់ត្រឡាច(១៨) អួង ប្រធាន, ៣.រលាប្អៀរ(២០) ហ៊ិត ប្រធាន, ៤.ទឹកផុស(១៤) អ៊ុក ប្រធាន, ៥.កំពង់ត្រឡាចលើ(១២) យឹម ប្រធាន, ៦.បរិបូរណ៍(១០) រិន ប្រធាន។ នៅក្នុងស្រុកនេះមានកងទ័ពមួយកងវរសេនាតូចលេខ១០១ មានកម្លាំងទាំងអស់៣២២នាក់ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ធុន។
