On 23 april 1973 khmer rebels formed a new platoon 121 which consisted of 150 combatant equipped with AK 47, CKC , Carabin 40M1 and others were equipped with knives and axes. This platoon was under Mith Nhunh and Mith Phlong's command and located in Ptah Rung village, Ptah Rung commune, Bakan district, Pursat province. Hundreds of families were evacuated from Sam Rorng, Raong village Dang Kao Tret, Chrang Chaot to Ptah Rung village.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៣ ខែមេសា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ពួកខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមបានបងើ្កតកង ទ័ពថី្ម ជាកងវរសេនាតូច១២១ ដែលមានកម្លាំងសរុប១៥០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធអាកា៤៧, សេកាសេ, ការ៉ាប៊ីន៤០អ៊ឹមអង និងខ្លះទៀតគ្មានអាវុធ កាន់តែកាំបិតនិងពូថៅ ក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ មិត្ដ ញុញ និង មិត្ដ ផ្លុង ដែលមានទីតាំងនៅភូមិផ្ទះរុង សង្កាត់ផ្ទះរុង ស្រុកបាកាន ខេត្ដពោធិ៍សាត់។ ហើយជាពិសេសពួកវាបានកៀរប្រជាជនជាច្រើនគ្រួសារនៅភូមិសំរោង, ដង្កោរទេ្រត, ច្រាំងចោត យក ទៅទុកនៅក្នុងភូមិផ្ទះរុងនោះដែរ។
