Long Tong, alias Tang, male, is 47 years old and lives in Thma Da village, Boeng Nay sub-district, Prey Chhor district, Kampong Cham province. Tang was born in Krauch village, Krauch sub-district, Prey Chhor district, Kampong Cham province. Tang៌s wife is Chan Khan and he has 3 children [2 boys + 1 girl]. Tang៌s father was Long San who died in 1986 while his mother is Lao who is now living in Krauch village. Tong has 5 siblings. Tong went to Kroch Primary School until there was a coup in 1970. After 1970 coup, he dropped out of school and came to help his parents in rice field. It was in 1972 that Tong joined the revolution because of King Sihanouk៌s call and the wrath that America dropped bombs in his village; as a result, his father got injured. At that time, he joined the revolution through Van who came to visit home. And, Van persuaded Tong to go into the forest. Tong then decided to follow Van who was a liberation soldier. When first joining, Tong was assigned to Chamkar Leu district, stationing in Independent Cannon Unit of Division 502 controlled by a commander, Peou who was from Vietnam. After staying in Kampong Cham province for 3 months, that unit opened champagne to attack Kampong Thom town in order to move that unit to this province. At that time, Tong was only 16 years old. It was because Peou saw Tong was too small that he assigned him to study medicines for one month in General Staff Hospital, and he was then designated to be stationed for the whole year in Region Number 304 in Siem Reap province. It was in 1974 that Tong returned to his old unit, working a medical staff in the battlefield until liberating Phnom Penh in 1975. After seeing Tong៌s struggle, Peou assigned him to be a soldier again in the platoon in 1975-1976. At that time, Tong fought forward very hard both night and day. There wasn៌t enough food to eat, but Tong worked harder and harder like carrying earth and farming in rice field to follow the party៌s line. In 1978, Tong៌s unit was accused of being traitors, carefully following up bad backgrounds in order to send to work in Kampong Chhnang Airport while good backgrounds were assigned to fight in Vietnam border. When Vietnamese soldiers marched into Cambodia in 1979, Khmer Rouge evacuated people with these elements to Oral Mountain and Am Lang in order to organize the resistant movement. While traveling to Thai border, Tong was struggling with Vietnamese soldiers until 1985. He then ran to Th-85 camp. After that, the Th-85 camp was dispersed, and Tong was arranged by Ex to get married. And, Tong lived there until there was Paris Agreement in 1992. Tong was then sent by UNTAC to his home village, and there was a general election. Tong along with his family has lived in his home village until these days.
ឡុង តុង ហៅតាង ភេទប្រុស អាយុ៤៧ឆ្នាំ រស់នៅភូមិថ្មដា ឃុំបឹងណាយ ស្រុកពៃ្រឈរ ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ តុង មានស្រុក កំណើតនៅភូមិក្រូច ឃុំក្រូច ស្រុកពៃ្រឈរ ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ ប្រពន្ធ របស់តុង ឈ្មោះចាន់ ឃាន់ ហើយមានកូន៣នាក់ ប្រុស២ ស្រី១នាក់។ ឪពុករបស់តុងឈ្មោះ ឡុង សាន ស្លាប់ឆ្នាំ១៩៨៦ ឯម្ដាយឈ្មោះផ្លោក ឡៅ សព្វថៃ្ងរស់នៅភូមិក្រូច។ តុងមាន បងប្អូនប្រុស៥នាក់។ តុង រៀននៅសាលាបឋមសិក្សាក្រូច ដល់ឆ្នាំ ១៩៧០មានរដ្ឋប្រហារក៏ ឈប់មកជួយឃ្វាលគោ ធ្វើស្រែឪពុក ម្ដាយ។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ ក៏ចូលបដិវត្ដន៍ព្រោះមានការអំពាវនាវពី សមេ្ដចសីហនុ និងមានកំហឹងព្រោះអាមេរិកកាំងទម្លាក់គ្រាប់បែក មកចំភូមិស្រុករបស់តុង ហើយឪពុក របស់តុងក៏ត្រូវរបួស កាលហ្នឹងចូលតាមរយៈឈ្មោះវ៉ាន់ មកលេងផ្ទះហើយគេបបួលទៅ ចូលពៃ្រ ក៏ទៅតាមវ៉ាន់ ដែលវ៉ាន់ ជាកងទ័ពរំដោះ។ ចូលដំបូង ទីតាំងនៅស្រុកចំការលើដែលនៅក្នុងកងឯករាជ្យកាំភ្លើងធំលេខ៥០២ ដែលដឹកនាំបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះពៅ មកពីភាគខាងជើងប្រទេស វៀតណាម។ នៅកំពង់ចាមបាន៣ខែ អង្គភាពហ្នឹងបើកយុទ្ធនាការ វ៉ៃទីក្រុងកំពង់ធំ ផ្លាស់មកនៅកំពង់ធំវិញ។ កាលហ្នឹងតុង ទើបតែ មានអាយុ ១៦ឆ្នាំទេ ដោយពៅ មើលឃើញថាតុងនៅតូចក៏ផ្លាស់ឱ្យទៅរៀនវិជ្ជាពេទ្យនៅខែ១ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ នៅពេទ្យសេនាធិការ ប្រចាំភូមិភាគ៣០៤នៅខេត្ដសៀមរាប រៀនពេញ១ឆ្នាំ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ពេល ដែលរៀន តុង ក៏ត្រឡប់មកអង្គភាពចាស់ វិញ ហើយធ្វើជាពេទ្យប្រចាំសមរភូមិរហូតដល់រំដោះទីក្រុង ភ្នំពេញឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥។ ក្រោយពីមើលឃើញការតស៊ូរបស់តុង ពៅបានឱ្យតុងធ្វើជាកងទ័ពវិញ ដោយឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥៧៦កាន់អនុ សេនាតូច ដែលការនោះគឺប្រឹងធ្វើការសំរុកទាំងយប់ ទាំងថៃ្ង ធ្វើការខ្លាំងហើយហូបចុកមិនគ្រប់គ្រាន់ គឺលើកដី ធ្វើស្រែតាម មាគ៌ារបស់បក្ស។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៨ គេចោទថាអង្គភាពរបស់តុង ក្បត់ ចំរាញ់ប្រវត្ដិរូបមិនល្អឱ្យទៅធ្វើការនៅព្រលានយន្ដហោះ កំពង់ឆ្នាំង តែបើប្រវត្ដិរូបល្អគឺទៅវ៉ៃនៅសមរភូមិព្រំដែន វៀតណាម។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩ពេលដែលកងទ័ព វៀតណាមចូលមក រំដោះ ខែ្មរក្រហមបានជម្លៀសអ្នកដែលជាប់សមាសភាពហ្នឹងទៅ ភ្នំឱរ៉ាល់ ទៅអមលាំង ឱ្យរៀបចំជាចលនាតស៊ូ ក្រោយមកទៀត តុង ទៅដល់ព្រំដែនថៃ ម៉ាឡៃធ្វើការតស៊ូជាមួយរៀតណាមរហូត ដល់ឆ្នាំ១៩៨៥ រត់ទៅនៅជំរំថ៨៥។ ក្រោយមកទៀតទៅ នៅជំរំសាយអេចក៏រៀបគ្រួសារ នៅរហូតមានកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀង ទីក្រុងប៉ារីសឆ្នាំ៩២ អ៊ុនតាក់បញ្ជូនមកស្រុកកំណើតវិញក៏មាន ការបោះឆ្នោត។ តុងនិងក្រុមគ្រួសារក៏រស់នៅស្រុកកំណើត រហូតដល់សព្វថៃ្ង។
