Lor Sophoan, who was arrested at Chambakkmean on December 26, 1974, was a combatant in squad 1, platoon 2, company 3, battalion 758, positioned in region 41, zone 304. The battalion758 consisted of 270 soldiers , equipped with weapons, located in Wat Cheung Prey and its commander was Thy. The army despaired of fighting and faced serious hardship of living in forest, on th other hand, communist discipline was too strict and too dictatorial.
ឡោ សោភ័ណត្រូវបានចាប់ខ្លួននៅថ្ងៃ២៦ ធ្នូ ១៩៧៤ នៅចំបក់មាន ជាយុទ្ធជននៅក្រុមទី១ក្នុងកងអនុសេនាតូច ២, អនុសេនាធំ ៣, វរសេនាតូច ៧៥៨, ប្រចាំតំបន់ ៤១, ភូមិភាគ ៣០៤។ ក្នុងកងវរសេនាតូច ៧៥៨ នេះមានកម្លាំងចំនួន២៧០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយ អាវុធគ្រប់ដៃ ហើយមានទីតាំងនៅក្នុងវត្ដជើងព្រៃនិងមានឈ្មោះ ធី ជាមេបញ្ជាការ។ យុទ្ធជនខ្មាំងអស់ទឹកចិត្ដប្រយុទ្ធនិងមានការលំបាកវេទនា យ៉ាងខ្លាំងនៅក្នុងព្រៃ ហើយម្យ៉ាងទៀតរបបនិងវិន័យកុម្មុយនិស្ដតឹងរឹង ផ្ដាច់ការហួសហេតុ។
