About 500 Khmer rebels armed forces in Battalion 230, under the command of Sem who had just come back from the fighting with National Army in Koh Krala and Kuoy Chik Dei of Mong Russei district, Battambang, moved towards Pursat province. The battalion was divided into three companies in which there were 100 forces in each battalion. Last time Sem had been designated to choose and persuade local people to serve their Angkar in Battambang region, Pursat and Kampong Speu province. The required number was 500 forces. After that the 500 new soldiers were sent to training center in Kampong Speu, then sent back to Battambang province.
ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមប្រហែល៥០០នាក់នៅក្នុងកងវរសេនាតូចលេខ២៣០ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធ ក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ សែម ដែលទើបនិង មកពីវាយទីតាំងកងទ័ពជាតិនៅកោះក្រឡ និងគួយជីកដី ស្រុកមោង ខេត្ដបាត់ដំបង បាននាំគ្នាធ្វើចលនាមកកាន់ខេត្ដពោធិ៍សាត់វិញ ពិសេសកងវរសេនាតូចនេះចែកចេញជាផ្នែកៗ និង៣កង អនុសេនាធំ។ ក្នុងមួយកងៗមានគ្នា១០០នាក់។ កាលពីមុនឈ្មោះ សែម នេះត្រូវពួកខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមចាត់ឱ្យទៅជ្រើសរើស និងបញ្ចុះបញ្ចូល អ្នកស្រុកឱ្យចូលបម្រើអង្គការវាក្នុងភូមិភាគបាត់ដំបង ពោធិ៍សាត់ និងកំពង់ស្ពឺ ឱ្យបាន៥០០នាក់ទើបចាត់ឱ្យមករៀននៅមណ្ឌលហ្វឹកហ្វឺន កំពង់ស្ពឺ។ ក្រោយពីហ្វឹកហ្វឺនរួច ក៏ផ្លាស់មកកាន់ខេត្ដបាត់ដំបងវិញ។
