Lay Seng Heang aka Chan Saroeun used to serve Khmer Communist movement as a soldier of battalion 301, region 31 of southwest zone and then he defected to society at deputy military, Kampong Chhnang, on April 19, 1974.
ឡាយ សេងហ៊ាង ហៅ ចាន់ សារឿន ធ្លាប់បានបម្រើចលនា ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដ ឋានៈជាយុទ្ធជនក្នុងកងវរសេនាតូចលេខ៣០១ តំបន់៣១ ភូមិភាគនិរតី ហើយបានចូលមករួបរួមក្នុងសង្គមជាតិវិញ នៅថ្ងៃទី១៩ មេសា ១៩៧៤ ក្នុងផ្នែកសឹករងកំពង់ឆ្នាំង។
