In late 1972, according to the unknown cadre from the eastern zone, he led combatants to attack Vihear Sour at WT064-896, and arrested two journalists whose nationality were not known while these journalist were taking photographs at the battle. The journalists were handed on to the authority of zone 203 after being arrested.
កាលពីចុងឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ តាមសំដីកម្មាភិបាលម្នាក់ពុំស្គាល់ឈ្មោះនៅខាង ភូមិភាគបូពា៍បាននិយាយថាៈ គាត់បានដឹកនាំយុទ្ធជនទៅវាយប្រហារនៅ សមរភូមិវិហារសួគ៍ត្រង់ចំនុច ឌុបបល ធី ០៦៤-៨៩៦ ហើយបានចាប់ អ្នកកាស្សែតបរទេស២នាក់ពុំដឹង សញ្ជាតិព្រោះពួកនោះបានទៅថតយក រូបភាពផ្ទាល់នៅទីនោះ។ ក្រោយពីចាប់បានគេក៍បានបញ្ជូនជនទាំងពីរនាក់ នោះទៅកាន់អាជ្ញាធរខាងភូមិភាគ២០៣។
