Kruy Tayhong was a former soldier at platoon 13, company 61, battalion 136, regiment 154, division 11, special zone. This unit was an artillery unit which was responsible for shelling to national army at Dey Et, Reussei Srok, and performing military duty along Tonle Basak and Tonle Mekong ranging from Prek Youn to Ka-am Samnor. Base on the information: they arrested 2 American hostages at Koh Thom. The spirit of this unit was so worse because all the soldiers were not happy with this communist oppression regime. Besides, they were afraid of death by the bombardment of the National Army.
ឈ្មោះគ្រុយ តាយហ៊ុង អតីតយុទ្ធជននៅកងអនុសេនាតូចលេខ ១៣ អនុសេនាធំ ៦១ វរសេនាតូច ១៣៦ វរសេនាធំ ១៥៤ កងពល ១១ ភូមិភាគពិសេស។ កងឯកភាពនេះគឺជាកងកាំភ្លើងធំដែលមានតួនាទី ដើម្បី បាញ់ផ្លោងមកលើទីតាំងកងទ័ពជាតិនៅដីឥដ្ឋ, ឫស្សីស្រុកព្រមទាំង ធ្វើ សកម្មភាពតាមដងទនេ្លបាសាក់ និងទនេ្លមេគង្គខាងលិចចាប់ពីព្រែកយួន ទៅដល់ក្អមសំណរ។ តាមព្រភពបានឱ្យដឹងថាៈមានចាប់បានឈ្លើយសឹក អាមេរិកកាំង@នាក់នៅម្ដុំកោះធំ។ នៅក្នុងកងនេះមានការស្រុតចុះយ៉ាង ខ្លាំងព្រោះយុទ្ធជនទាំងអស់មានការមិនសប្បាយចិត្ដនឹងរបបកុម្មុយនិស្ដ ផ្ដាច់ការជិះជាន់នេះទេ។ ម្យ៉ាងទៀតកងទ័ពខ្មាំងមានការភ័យខ្លាចស្លាប់ ដោយសារគ្រាប់ផ្លោងនិងគ្រាប់បែកយន្ដហោះរបស់កងទ័ពជាតិ។
