Nuon Sauphal served Khmer communist movement as the commander of platoon 1, company 140, region 22, and Khim Khan served Khmer communist movement as a chief of youth in Chamkar Veng village, Peam Meanchey sub-district, Oudong district, Oudong Meanchey province. On June 10, 1974, the 2 men defected to female national military in Chroy Chrey village, Lvea Em district, Kandal province. Both of them were also interrogated by general staff.
នួន សូផល បានបម្រើចលនាខ្មែរកុម្មុយនីស្ដក្នុងឋានៈជាប្រធានកងអនុ សេនាតូច១, អនុសេនាធំ៤០ប្រចាំតំបន់២២។ ឃឹម ខន បានបម្រើ អោយចលនាខ្មែរកុម្មុយនីស្ដ ក្នុងតួនាទីជាប្រធានយុវជនភូមិចំការវែងស្រុកពាមមានជ័យ ស្រុកឧត្ដុង្គ ខេត្ដឧត្ដុង្គមានជ័យ។ សាមុីជនទាំង ពីរនេះចូលរួបរួមក្នុងសង្គមជាតិវិញកាលពីថ្ងៃទី១០ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ជាមួយនឹងកងទ័ពនារីខ្មែរ ដែលប្រចាំការនៅភូមិជ្រោយជ្រៃស្រុកល្វាឯម ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ អគ្គលេខាធិការយោធពលខេមជាតិបានសួរយកព័ត៌មាន ដើម្បីជាប្រយោជន៍ដល់កងទ័ពជាតិរួចហើយ។
