A source said on October 9, 1973, at 3 am, about 350 armed Khmer rebels left Kampong Kantout at VT:817-617 and mingled with villager in Kandal Stung district at VT: 898-642 and VT: 886-642. This group was responsible for attacking our national military positions along national road 2. On the same day at 5h.30, they shot a military truck coming from Speanbak bridge to Takhmao town, leaving the truck collapsed and some soldiers were injured. The incident

ប្រហែល៣៥០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃបានចេញពីម្ដុំកំពង់កន្ដួត វ៉េតេៈ៨១៧-៦១៧ ហើយមកបង្កប់ខ្លួននៅវ៉េតេៈ ៨៩៨-៦៤២, វ៉េតេៈ៨៨៦-៦៤២ ក្នុងស្រុកកណ្ដាលសឹ្ទង។ ពួកវាមាននាទីចាំវាយ ទីតាំងកងទ័ពជាតិយើងនៅតាមផ្លូវជាតិលេខ២ នៅម៉ោង៥ៈ៣០ខ្មែរទ្ទាម បានបាញ់រថយន្ដយោធា១គ្រឿង ដែលចេញស្ពានបាក់សំដៅទៅក្រុង តាខ្មៅ បណ្ដាលអោយក្រឡាប់ហើយរបួសទាហានខ្លះៗនៅក្នុងភូមិព្រែក កំពិសត្រង់វ៉េតេៈ៩១៨-២៥៣ ក្នុងស្រុកកណ្ដាលសឹ្ទង។ |
