On July 29, 1973, about 300 Khmer rebels in military zone division moved from Battambang to stay temporarily and to position a headquarter in Russey Krang village at UV:465-870, in order to blow up bridges, to burn houses and to smash national military position in Svay Daunkeo, soon. A source said on July 4, 1973, about 100 North Viet Cong soldiers, equipped with B40 and other guns, deployed at Khsach island at UV:663-054 in Preah Mlou, sub-district Bakan district, Pursat province in order to forcibly collect food shuff from people in the region for soldier, who mingled with people around Tonle Sap lake.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៩ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមប្រមាណ៣០០នាក់ក្នុងកងពលយោធភូមិភាគបានចេញពីបាត់ដំបង មករាយគ្នាស្នាក់ជា បណ្ដោះអាសន្នព្រមទាំងទីបញ្ជាការនៅក្នុងភូមិឫស្សីក្រាំង អ៊ុយអ៊ុយៈ ៤៦៥-៨៧០ក្នុងបំណងបំផ្លាញស្ពាន, ដុតផ្ទះប្រជាជន និងវាយ ប្រហារទីតាំងយោធាយើងនៅស្វាយដូនកែវ ក្នុងពេលឆាបៗ ។ ប្រភពផ្ដល់ទៀតថា នៅថ្ងៃទី៤ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ យៀកកុងយួនខាងជើង១០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធបេ៤០ និងអាវុធផេ្សងទៀតបានរាយគ្នានៅកោះខ្សាច់អ៊ុយវ៉េៈ៦៦៣-០៥៤ក្នុងសង្កាត់ព្រះម្លូ ស្រុកបាកាន ខេត្ដពោធិ៍សាត់ ក្នុងបំណងប្រមូលស្បៀងអាហារពីប្រជាជនក្នុងតំបន់នោះយកទៅអោយកងទ័ពវាដែលបង្កប់ខ្លួននៅជុំវិញបឹងទនេ្លសាប។
