កំណត់សម្គាល់សេចក្ដីសង្ខេប :

On July 16, 1973, about 500 Khmer rebels, equipped with 82mm mortars, 75mm guns, B40, B41 and other hand guns, moved from Prey Veng province to hide themselves near Toulsleng village in Prek Thmei sub-district. Other Khmer rebels were stationed in Prek Eng sub-district at WT: 001-709 in Kean Svay district. The enemies planned to blow up national road No. 1, to smash national military positionsin wat Krao village at WT: 047-723 Phum Thom sub-district, Kien Svay district and to shell Takhmao town and Chba Ampeou in the near future.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៦ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមចំនួនប្រហែល៥០០នាក់ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធ៧៥មម, កាំភើ្លងត្បាល់៨២មម, បេ៤០, បេ៤១ និងអាវុធដៃផេ្សងទៀតបានចេញពីខេត្ដព្រៃវែង ហើយចូលមកលាក់ខ្លួននៅម្ដុំភូមិទួលស្លែង ត្រង់ដុបឡឺវ៉េតេៈ៩៨៨-៦៨៦ក្នុងសង្កាត់ព្រែកថី្ម និងខ្លះទៀតទៅតាំងជម្រកនៅសង្កាត់ព្រែកឯងត្រង់ចំនុចដុបឡឺវ៉េតេៈ០០១-៧០៩ក្នុងស្រុកកៀនស្វាយ។ ពួកវាមានបំណងផ្ដាច់ផ្លូវ ជាតិលេខ១ និងមានបំណងកំទេចទីតាំងទ័ពជាតិនៅភូមិវត្ដក្រៅត្រង់ដុបឡឺវ៉េតេៈ០៤៧-៧២៣ក្នុងសង្កាត់ភូមិធំ ស្រុកកៀនស្វាយ និងបាញ់កាំភើ្លងផ្លោងចូលក្រុងតាខ្មៅ និងច្បារអំពៅក្នុងពេលខាងមុខ។
