On July 19, 1973, about 350 Khmer rebels in unit 29, equipped with guns, were divided into 2 groups.
- The first group of 150 men had their headquarter in Sdok village at VT: 768-660, Deumrussey sub-district, Kandal Stung district. - The second group of 200 men hid themselves in the South of Phea village at VT:778-669 and VT:782-664 Prateah Lang sub-district in Dangkor district with an attempt to attack our military positions at Svaymeas temple at VT: 779-673, and Tang Raneam temple at VT:796-667 in the near future. នៅថ្ងៃទី១៩ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមប្រហែល៣៥០នាក់ ក្នុង កងលេខ២៩ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃ បានចែកគ្នាជា២ក្រុមដូច ខាងក្រោមៈ- ក្រុមទី១ចំនួន១៥០នាក់ បានតាំងបញ្ជាការនៅភូមិស្ដុក ត្រង់ចំនុច វ៉េតេៈ ៧៦៨-៦៦០ សង្កាត់ដើមឫស្សី ស្រុកកណ្ដាលសឹ្ទង។- ក្រុមទី២ចំនួន២០០នាក់ បានទៅលាក់ខ្លួននៅវាលស្រែខាងត្បូង ភូមិភាចំងាយ៣០០ម ត្រង់ចំនុចវ៉េតេៈ៧៧៨-៦៦៩រហូតដល់ វ៉េតេៈ៧៨២-៦៦៤ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ប្រទះឡាង ស្រុកដង្កោរ ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ប្រភពផ្ដល់ទៀតថាពួកវាមានបំណងវាយប្រហារទីតាំងទ័ពជាតិយើង នៅវត្ដស្វាយមាស ត្រង់វ៉េតេៈ៧៧៩-៦៧៣ និងវត្ដតាំងរនាម ត្រង់វ៉េតេៈ៧៩៦-៦៦៧ក្នុងពេលឆាប់។
