On July 21, 1973, at 6h, a platoon of armed Khmer rebels in blue uniforms deployed under villages' houses in Thom village at VT:788-888, while other 30 deployed in a Thom village school, Ponhea Leu sub-district, Baset district.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២១ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ម៉ោង៦ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមមួយកងអនុ សេនាធំស្លៀកពាក់ពណ៌ខៀវ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធទំនើបៗបានរាយគ្នាស្នាក់តាមផ្ទះអ្នកស្រុក ក្នុងភូមិធំ ត្រង់វ៉េតេៈ៧៨៨-៨៨៨ និង៣០នាក់ទៀតរាយគ្នាក្នុងសាលារៀនភូមិធំ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ពញាឮ ស្រុកភ្នំបាសិត។
