Liem Thai, alias Kieng Thang, served Khmer communist movement as a militiaman in Toek la-ak
village, UV:255-340, region 2. In the unit, there were 14 militiamen, under the command of Saorn Soy. On September 25, 1974, he fleed from the zone occupied by enemies to join our Khmer republic government at Kbal Thnal military check point at UV: 195-352. លៀម ថៃ ហៅ គៀង ថង បានបម្រើក្នុងនយោបាយខ្មែររំដោះក្នុង ឋានៈជាកងឈ្លបរបស់ខ្មាំងនៅក្នុងភូមិទឹកល្អក ត្រង់អ៊ុយវ៉េៈ២៥៥-៣៤០ប្រចាំតំបន់២, មានកម្លាំងទាំងអស់១៤នាក់ ក្រោមមេបញ្ជាការ ឈ្មោះ សោម សយ។ នៅថ្ងៃទី២៥ ខែកញ្ញា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ជននេះ បានគេចខ្លួនពីតំបន់ខាងលើនេះ មកចូលរួបរួមក្នុងសង្គមជាតិវិញជាមួយកងទ័ពជាតិយើងនៅប៉ុសិ៍្ដក្បាល់ថ្នល់ ត្រង់អ៊ុយវ៉េៈ១៩៥-៣៥២។
