On February 12, 1972, there were 65 North Yuon Viet Cong armed forces, dressed in backand departed from Prek Russei village at VT 858-947. They were about to cross Tonle Sap river to sangkat Chrey Las. The source indicated that the enemies launched 8 boats across river at VT 835-945. When they rich the middle of the river the National Marine Corps Selled at those boats which caused one baot plunged into water and rest widrew back to Prek Russei. Until February 15, 1972, The National Army stoodby at Prek Kruos bridge took a corps which was ploating. They found a Chines PA with it cover as well as some important document.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១២ ខែកុម្ភះ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ វេលាម៉ោង២២ៈ០០ ទៅ ២៣ៈ០០ មានយៀកកុងខាងជើងប្រហែល៦៥នាក់ ស្លៀកពាក់ខ្មៅ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធ បានចេញពីភូមិព្រែកឬស្សី ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៨៥៨-៩៤៧ បម្រុងឆ្លងកាត់តាមទនេ្លសាបទៅសង្កាត់ជ្រៃលាស់។ ប្រភពបាន បន្ថែមថា ខ្មាំងបានចុះទូកទាំងអស់៨គ្រឿងជិះឆ្លងកាត់ទនេ្លចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៨៣៥-៩៤៥ លុះមកដល់កណ្ដាលទនេ្លក៏មានកងម៉ារីនជាតិ បានបាញ់កាំភ្លើងផ្លោងសំដៅទៅទូករបស់ខ្មាំង ហើយបណ្ដាលឱ្យទូកត្រូវលិច មួយគ្រឿង ហើយពួកដែលនៅសល់ត្រូវដកថយនៅព្រែកឬស្សីវិញ។ រហូតមកដល់ថ្ងៃទី១៥ ខែកុម្ភះ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ កងទ័ពជាតិប្រចាំនៅស្ពាន ព្រែកគ្រួស បានរើសបានសពមួយអណ្ដែតទឹក ហើយនៅលើសាកសព គេឃើញមានអាវុធប៉េអាចិន និងស្រោមមួយ ព្រមទាំងឯកសារ សំខាន់ៗ។
