Koy Thun, a soldier in Battalion 329, defected on January 22, 1973, He confessed that On June 17, 1972, Viet Congs attacked Battalion 329, in Chiphou district. កុយ ធុន ជាទាហាននៅកងវរសេនាតូចលេខ៣២៩ បានចូលមក បង្ហាញខ្លួននៅប្រទេសវៀតណាមខាងត្បូងកាលពីថ្ងៃទី២២ ខែមករា ឆ្នាំ ១៩៧៣។ កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៧ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ មានពួកយៀកកុង ចូលវាយប្រហារកងវរសេនាតូចលេខ៣២៩ ប្រចាំនៅស្រុកជីភូ ហើយកងវរសេនាតូច ក៏ខ្ចាត់ខ្ចាយអស់ ខ្លះរត់រួចខ្លួន ខ្លះត្រូវពួកវាចាប់បាន។ ចំណែករូបខ្ញុំបាទ និងគ្នាខ្ញុំ២០នាក់ ត្រូវពួកវាចាប់ខ្លួនបាន ហើយពួកវានាំទៅទុកនៅភូមិសង្កាត់គគីរចំនួន៨ខែ ហើយបញ្ជូនខ្ញុំបាទ ទៅតំបន់ឆ្លូង ១ខែ ហើយមានយន្ដហោះទៅទម្លាក់គ្រាប់បែកធ្វើឱ្យពួកវារត់បែកខ្ញែក ហើយខ្ញុំក៏ឆ្លៀតឱកាសភៀសខ្លួនតែម្ដង ហើយចូល បង្ហាញខ្លួននៅប៉ុសិ៍្ដបាវិត ខាងបាវិតបញ្ជូនទៅព្រៃនគរ ហើយបញ្ជូន ទៅស្រុកខ្មែរ។
