Sok Sim, alias An, disappeared. Interviewed with his 58-year-old uncle, Chhim Then; Sim៌s father was Ros Sok and mother was Mel Yan. Sim had 10 siblings [7 girls + 3 boys], and he was born in Dai Buon village, Chrey Vien sub-district, Prey Chhor district, Kampong Cham province. When he was a child, Sim studied until grade 7 [in the old system]. It was when he was at the age of 23 in 1973 that Sim volunteered to join the revolution as a KR soldier in order to fight with Lon Nol៌s soldiers in a war. It was in 1975 that the Division 310 fought into Phnom Penh, and Sim was promoted as Yuvakak (Kampuchean Communist Youth). Through Theng, he told that Sim has never returned to his home village since leaving to join the revolution; in addition, his parents and siblings never returned here as well.
សុក ស៊ីម ហៅ អាន បាត់ខ្លួន ជួបជាមួយឈ្មោះ ឈឹម ថេង អាយុ៥៨ឆ្នាំត្រូវ ជាឪពុកមា។ ស៊ីម មានឪពុកឈ្មោះ រស់ សុក ម្ដាយឈ្មោះ ម៉ែល យ៉ាន់ មានបងប្អូន១០នាក់ ស្រី៧ប្រុស៣ មានស្រុកកំណើតនៅភូមិដបៃួន ឃុំជៃ្រវៀន ស្រុកពៃ្រឈរ ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ ស៊ីម កាលពីតូចរៀនបានត្រឹមថ្នាក់ទី៧ឪចាស់ឱ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ កាលនោះអាយុ២៣ឆ្នាំ បានស្ម័គ្រចិត្ដចូល បដិវត្ដជាយោធា ដើម្បីធ្វើសង្គ្រាមវាយជាមួយទាហាន លន់ នល់។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ បានវាយចូល ដល់ទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញកងពល៣១០ ហើយបានឡើងជាយុវកក។ បើតាមឈ្មោះ ថេង ប្រាប់ថា ឈ្មោះ ស៊ីម តាំងចូលបដិវត្ដបាត់ខ្លួនរហូតមិនដែលឃើញត្រឡប់មក ស្រុកកំណើតទេ ហើយឪពុកម្ដាយបងប្អូន បង្កើតមិនឃើញ រស់នៅទីនេះទេ។
