In 1972, Um Chhieng, was evacuated to Krang Phngea village by enemy. He was a commander of Suicide militia unit in Ponhea Leu district, Region 15, Until in March 06, 1973, he had defected to the chief of sangkat Chhveang in Ponhea Leu district, Kandal province, and brought along a hand grenade.
នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ ឈ្មោះ អ៊ុំ ឈៀង ត្រូវពួកខ្មាំងកៀរយកទៅនៅភូមិ ក្រាំងភ្ងា ហើយឱ្យចូលបម្រើវារហូតបានទទួលនាទីមេបញ្ជាការកង អនុសេនាតូច កងឈ្លបប្រចាំស្រុកពញាឮ តំបន់១៥។ លុះដល់ថ្ងៃទី៦ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ប្រភពបានមកសុំចុះចូលជាមួយចៅសង្កាត់ឈ្វំាង ស្រុកពញ្ញាឮ ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល ដោយបាននាំយកមកនូវគ្រាប់ បែកមួយគ្រាប់មកផង។
