Chhun Ren aka Lay, was arrested by the commander of military sub-region in Sangkum Meanchey sub-province on September 14, 1972, for serving as agent for enemies. According to his confession, this allegation was not correct, because he said, he had never gone out from Phnom Penh city to provinces, for informations, or to communicated with any Viet Cong.
ឈ្មោះ ឈុន រ៉េន ហៅ ឡាយ ត្រូវបានមេបញ្ជាការផ្នែកសឹករងអនុខេត្ដសង្គមមានជ័យ ចាប់ខ្លួនកាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៤ ខែកញ្ញា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ ពីបទធើ្វភ្នាក់ងារឱ្យខ្មាំង។ តាមចម្លើយសារភាពរបស់សាម៉ីជនបានឱ្យដឹងថា ការចោទប្រកាន់នេះមិនត្រឹមត្រូវទេ ព្រោះសាម៉ីជនឆើ្លយថា ខ្លួនពិតជាមិនដែលចេញក្រៅក្រុងភ្នំពេញ ដើម្បីទៅយកពត៌មាន នៅតាមបណ្ដាខេត្ដ ឬឈរនិយាយជាមួយពួកយៀកកុងឡើយ។
