On June 13, 1974, at 12h, Thang Ton fleed willingly from region 5 to join national army in war operation region 2 in Samrong village, Thmar puork district because he had been accused of being Khmer Republic government's spy.
He also said that the enemies in region 5 had headquarters at UA:303-228, UA:547-175 and a hospital at UA:563-186. ថង ថុន ជាខ្មែរកុម្មុយនីស្ដបានរត់ចេញពីតំបន់៥ ដោយស្ម័្រគចិត្ដមករួបរួមជាមួយកងទ័ពជាតិ នៅមណ្ឌលប្រតិបតិ្ដការសឹកទី២ នៅថ្មពួកស្រុក ភូមិសំរោង ត្រង់ចំនុចអ៊ុយវ៉េៈ២៨៤-៣៤៨ នៅថ្ងៃទី១៣ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ម៉ោង១២។ មូលហេតុដែលរត់ចេញមកពីពួកវាចោទសាម៉ីខ្លួនថាជាអ្នកភ្នាក់ងារខាងរដ្ឋាភិបាល ហើយមានសម្លាប់សាមុីជន ចោល។ ពួកខ្មាំងមានប៉ុសិ៍្ដបញ្ជាការនៅត្រង់អ៊ុយអាៈ៣០៣-២២៨,អ៊ុយអាៈ៥៤៧-១៧៥ និងមនី្ទរពេទ្យ១ត្រង់អ៊ុយអាៈ៥៦៣-១៨៦។
