Beng, alias Sam, disappeared. Interviewed with a 65-year-old neighbor, Sieng Ly; Beng៌s father was Brakk Sin and mother was Mach Un. Beng had 5 siblings and he was born in Prey Torting village, Chrey Vien sub-district, Prey Chhor district, Kampong Cham province. It was in 1966 that Beng volunteered to join the revolution. At that time, he was only 13 years old, and he was assigned as a courier in Chrey Vien sub-district. In 1966, Beng joined the party in Prey Chhor district. It was in 1970 that he was promoted as the vice-secretary of Stung Trang district, and he married a wife named Chhay Srieng who was born in Stung Trang, Kampong Cham province as well. It was in 1974 that Beng became the sub-chief of the battlefield in Kampong Thom province. In 1975, he was promoted as a member of region 106 in Puork district, Siem Reap province. Through Sieng Ly, he told that Beng has never returned to his home village since leaving to join the revolution while his parents and siblings all died in the Khmer Rouge regime.

បានស្ម័គ្រចិត្ដ ចូលបដិវត្ដនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៦០ កាលនោះមានអាយុ ទើបតែ១៣ឆ្នាំ ចូលធ្វើជានិរសាឃុំជៃ្រវៀន។ នៅឆ្នាំ ១៩៦៦ បានចូលបក្សនៅស្រុកពៃ្រឈរ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧០មានឋានៈជា អនុលេខាស្រុកស្ទឹងត្រង់ ហើយមានប្រពន្ធឈ្មោះ ឆាយ ស្រ៊ាង មានស្រុកកំណើតនៅស្ទឹងត្រង់ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ ជាប្រធានវរសេនាតូច២៩០តំបន់៣១។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ជាអនុប្រធានសមរភូមិ ខេត្ដកំពង់ ធំ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ មានឋានៈជាសមាជិកតំបន់១០៦ស្រុកពួកខេត្ដសៀមរាប។ បើតាមឈ្មោះ ស៊ាង លី ប្រាប់ថា បេង តាំងពីចូលបដិវត្ដមិនដែល ឃើញត្រឡប់មកស្រុក កំណើតវិញទេ។ ចំណែក ឪពុកម្ដាយបង ប្អូនស្លាប់ក្នុងជំនាន់ខែ្មរក្រហមអស់ហើយ។ |
