In October 4, 1972 there were about 500 Viet Cong khmers in region unit No. 56 and 25, equipped with all kinds of weapons, who transported ammunitions from Veal village at VT:881-379, Sangkat Kdanh, Prey Kabas district, to hide in Phnom thmados at VT:786-493, Phnom Tamao at VT:788-490, Sangkat Put Sa.
They aimed to attack the national security forces along the national road No. 2 in 48 days after Phchum Ben.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៤ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ មានខ្មែរយៀកកុងក្នុងកងតំបន់លេខ៥៦ និង២៥ ប្រហែល៥០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ធុនបាន ធើ្វការជញ្ជូនគ្រាប់រំសេវចេញពីភូមិវាល ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេៈ៨៨១-៣៧៩ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ក្ដាញ់ ស្រុកព្រៃកប្បាស ឆ្ពោះមកលាក់ខ្លួននៅភ្នំថ្មដុះ ចំណុចវ៉េតេៈ៧៨៦-៤៩៣, នៅភ្នំតាម៉ៅចំណុចវ៉េតេៈ៧៨៨-៤៩០ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ពុតស ក្នុងគោលបំណងវាយប្រហារកងការពារជាតិ នៅតាមផ្លូវជាតិលេខ២ ក្នុងអំឡុងពេល៤៨ថ្ងៃក្រោយបុណ្យភ្ជុំបិណ្ឌ។
