On October 01, 1972, about 150 Khmer Viet Cong under a commander, named Sot Say, equipped with 2 FM-AC guns, 2 of 60mm mortars, 20 AR-15 guns, PM-AC guns, and Carabine M2 guns, deployed themselves at VT:752-985, in Trapeang Roka village and at VT:773-980, in Cham Bak Pluos village, Sangkat Phnom Bat, Oudong district, Oudong Meanchey province.
Sot Say, was appointed to be a new commissioner, instead of Sieng Srorn, who was changed to be responsible for controlling grinding Mill in Am Leang. កាលពីថ្ងៃទី០១ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ មានខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រហែល១៥០នាក់ ក្រោមបញ្ជាឈ្មោះ ស៊ុត សាយ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធអេហ្វអ៊ឹម-អាសេ ពីរដើម, កាំភើ្លងត្បាល់៦០មម ពីរដើម, អាអ៊ា១៥ ម្ភៃដើម ក្រៅពីនោះមានប៉េអ៊ឹម-អាសេ, ការ៉ាប៉ីន, អ៊ឹម២ ដែលបានប្រចាំការនៅភូមិត្រពាំងរកាវ៉េតេៈ ៧៥២-៩៨៥ និងភូមិចំបក់ភ្លោះវ៉េតេៈ ៧៧៣-៩៨០ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ភ្នំបាត ស្រុកឧត្ដុង្គ ខេត្ដឧត្ដុង្គមានជ័យ។ ឈ្មោះ ស៊ុត សាយ នេះទើបតែទទួលតំណែងថី្មស្នងពីឈ្មោះ សៀង ស្រ៊ន ដែលបានដកឱ្យទៅកាន់កាប់ម៉ាស៊ីនស្រូវនៅអមលាំង។
