Him Ret, alias Ra, male, aged 49. Ret៌s father was Nhim Hin and mother was Chan Sam. Ret has 4 siblings and is nowadays living in Kandal Kaong village, Samrong sub-district, Prey Chhor district, Kampong Cham province. When he was a child, Ret studied until grade 11 [in the old system] at Prim Prey primary school. He then left school because there was a coup to depose King Sihanouk. It was in 1971 that Ret volunteered to serve as a KR soldier through King Sihanouk៌s call for all children and grandchildren to run into Marky forest. At that time, there were 4 people joining the revolution, three of whom died. Three of them who died in the forest were Nat, Mony, and Nhat. There was a war between Khmer Rouge soldiers and Lon Nol soldiers. At that time, there៌re many both sides៌ soldiers died until the victory on April 17, 1975. Ret was a soldier in the 7th Division, 2nd Regiment; in addition, the chief of the division was Chet. At that time, Ret was then assigned to Division 310, and Oeun was the chief of Division. Ret wasn៌t assigned to fight into Phnom Penh because he got injured and sent by Angkar to receive treatment near Tuol Kork in Phnom Penh. He was then assigned to plant vegetable and farm in Beong Ba Yab rice field. It was in late 1976 to 1979 that Angkar sent Ret to make a war with Vietnam, so he was able to carry a gun again. At that time, Ret was assigned to Division 702, and there were more divisions like Division 410 that was a target to Vietnamese border both water and land in Kampong Cham province. It was when defeated by Vietnamese soldiers in 1979 that Ret ran back to his home village and married a wife named Sor Kimyien; in addition, they have 6 siblings [3 boys + 3 girls], earning for living as farmers.

រ៉េត កាលពីតូចរៀននៅសាលាបឋមសិក្សាប្រិមប្រិយ ៍ត្រឹមថ្នាក់ទី១១ឪចាស់ឱ ឈប់ រៀននៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧០ ដោយសារ មានរដ្ឋប្រហារទម្លាក់សមេ្ដចសីហនុ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ បានស្ម័គ្រ ចិត្ដ ចូលធ្វើជាយោធាខែ្មរក្រហមតាមការឃោសនាឱ្យកូនចៅ ចូលពៃ្រម៉ាគី កាលនោះចូលគ្នាបួននាក់ ស្លាប់ អស់បី មានឈ្មោះ ណាត ឈ្មោះ មុន្នី ឈ្មោះ ញត។ សង្គ្រាមរវាងយោធាខែ្មរ ក្រហមជាមួយ ទាហាន លន់ នល់ កាលនោះស្លាប់កងទ័ពទាំងសងខាង អស់ច្រើនណាស់ ទំរាំបានទទួលជ័យជំន្នះនៅថៃ្ងទី ១៧មេសា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥។ រ៉េត ជាយោធាកងពលទី៧ វរសេនាធំលេខ២ ប្រធានកងពលឈ្មោះ ចិត កាលនោះ រ៉េត ក្រោយមកបានចូលកង ពល៣១០ ប្រធានកងពលឈ្មោះ អឿន មិនបានវាយ ចូលទីក្រុង ភ្នំពេញទេ ព្រោះត្រូវរបួសជើងសម្រាកពេទ្យខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម ពេលជារបួសបានអង្គការ បញ្ជូនមកទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញ នៅម្ដុំទួលគោក ជាអ្នកដាំបនែ្លនិងធ្វើស្រែនៅបឹងប្រយ៉ាប។ នៅឆ្នាំចុងឆ្នាំ១៩ ៧៦ដល់ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩ អង្គការបានបញ្ជូនឱ្យទៅធ្វើសង្គ្រាមជា មួយប្រទេសវៀតណាម។ រ៉េត បានកាន់ កាំភ្លើងម្ដងទៀត កាលនោះចូលកងពល៧០២និងមានកងពលជាច្រើនទៀតដូចជា កងពល៤១០មាន មុខព្រួញខាងព្រំដែនវៀតណាមក្នុងទឹក ដីខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩ ពេលធ្វើសង្គ្រាមចាញ់កង ទ័ពវៀតណាម រ៉េត បានរត់មកស្រុកកំណើតវិញ ហើយបានរៀប ការប្រពន្ធឈ្មោះ សរ គឹមយាន មានកូន៦នាក់ ប្រុសបីស្រីបី ប្រកបរបរធ្វើស្រែចម្ការ។ |
