My-La, alias Meng, disappeared. Interviewed with his 68-year-old mother Sa Lan; My-La៌s father was Mom Mi and mother was Sa Lan. My-La has 7 siblings [2 girls + 5 boys], and he was born in Andaung Taloeng village, Thma Puon sub-district, Prey Chhor district, Kampong Cham province. When he was a child, My-La studied until grade 8 [in the old system]. After leaving school in 1973, My-La came to help his parents in rice field. It was in 1973 that My-La volunteered to join the revolution through the propaganda of Noeun and An who were Khmer Rouge soldiers in Prey Chhor district. In 1975, My-La never came to visit his home village. It was until 1979 that there was vague information that My-La ran to Thai border and died there. Until now, everyone in the family always keeps looking forward to seeing him. Yeay Sa Lan [Grandmother], during the Khmer Rouge regime, was assigned to transplant seedlings and harvest to put as collective products. Not only did she work harder and harder, but also lived separately from her husband; in addition, there was not enough food to eat. It was during the Khmer Rouge regime that Yeay Sa Lan knew that some people were captured and killed by Angkar. It was in 1979 that Lan has survived and lived in her home village, earning for a living as a farmer.
មីឡា ហៅ ម៉េង បាត់ខ្លួន ជួបជាមួយឈ្មោះ សរ ឡន អាយុ ៦៨ឆ្នាំ ត្រូវ ជាម្ដាយ។ មីឡា មានឪពុកឈ្មោះ មុំ មី ម្ដាយឈ្មោះ សរ ឡន មានបងប្អូន៧នាក់ស្រី២ប្រុស៥ មានស្រុកកំណើតនៅ ភូមិអណ្ដូងតាឡឹង ឃុំថ្មពូន ស្រុកពៃ្រឈរ ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ មីឡា កាលពីតូច រៀនត្រឹមថ្នាក់ទី៨ឪចាស់ឱ ឈប់រៀននៅឆ្នាំ១៩ ៧០មកជួយធ្វើស្រែឪពុកម្ដាយ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ បានស្ម័គ្រចិត្ដ ចូលបដិវត្ដតាមការឃោសនារបស់ឈ្មោះ នឿន ឈ្មោះ អន នៅក្នុងស្រុកពៃ្រឈរជា យោធាខែ្មរក្រហម។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ មីឡា មិនដែលមកលេងស្រុកកំណើតទេ ដល់ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩ មានពត៌ មានមិនច្បាស់ថា មីឡា បានរត់ទៅដល់ជាយដែនថហៃើយ ស្លាប់នៅទីនោះ រហូតមកដល់ពេល នេះចេះតែចាំមើលផ្លូវកូន ជានិច្ច។ លោកយាយ សរ ឡន ជំនាន់ខែ្មរក្រហម អង្គការចាត់តាំងឱ្យដក ស្ទូង ដើរច្រូតស្រូវយកមកដាក់រួមធ្វើការងារធ្ងន់ បែក ប្ដីបែកកូន ហើយហូបមិនបានឆែ្អត នៅឆ្នាំជំនាន់ ខែ្មរក្រហមដឹងថា មនុស្សមួយចំនួនអង្គការចាប់យកទៅសម្លាប់ចោល។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩ ៧៩ ឡន បានរស់ រានមានជីវិតរស់នៅក្នុងភូមិកំណើតប្រកប របរធ្វើស្រែចម្ការ។
