A source reported that on May 19, 1972, about 500 North Yuon Viet Congs stored ammunition and rice at VV:885-271, VV:889-277 and VV:891-270, situated in the jungle near Sra Kar Man river, Sangkat Dai, Kampong Svay district, Kampong thom province.
About 100 North Yuon Viet Congs set up cottages at VV:977-195 and VV:985-194, Northeast of Trapeang A Rak village, Sangkat Dai, Kampong Svay district, Kampong Thom province. ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៩ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ យៀកកុងយួនខាងជើងប្រដាប់អាវុធប្រហែល៥០០នាក់ ព្រមទាំងស្ដុកគ្រាប់រំសេវគ្រប់ធុន និងអង្ករនៅព្រៃក្បែរមាត់សឹ្ទងស្រកាមាន់ ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េវ៉េៈ៨៨៩-២៧៧ ,៨៨៩-២៧៧, ៨៩១-២៧០ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ដៃស្រុកកំពង់ស្វាយ ខេត្ដកំពង់ធំ។ យៀកកុងយួនខាងជើងប្រដាប់អាវុធប្រហែល១០០នាក់ទៀតមានខ្ទមនៅតាមព្រៃរបោះប៉ែកខាងជើង ឈៀងខាងកើតភូមិត្រពាំងអារក្ស ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េវ៉េៈ៩៧៧-១៩៥ និងវ៉េវ៉េៈ៩៨៥-១៩៤ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ដៃ ស្រុកកំពង់ស្វាយ ខេត្ដកំពង់ធំ។
