Sem Ros Man, Khmer- Islam, a combatant in Ro Ang sub-district voluntarily defected on April 15, 1974 to platoon 1, battalion 602 because Khmer Rouge forced people to give up their possessions, killed innocent villagers, burned houses and made people enter Indochina communist party. He said that most militia supported Khmer Republic government because they were forced to be militia.
សឹម រសម៉ាន ខ្មែរឥស្លាម ជាយុទ្ធជនកងឈ្លបសង្កាត់រអាង បាន ស្ម័គ្រចិត្ដចូលរួបរួមក្រៅការប្រយុទ្ធនៅភូមិព្រែកស្វាយ ត្រង់ចំនុច ឌុបយូយូ៥ ២២-២៩៣ ជាមួយនឹងកងអនុសេនាតូចទី១ កងវរៈ សេនាតូច ៦០២ កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៥ ខែមេសា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ដោយមូល ហេតុខ្មែរក្រហមបង្ខំឱ្យប្រជាជនលះបង់សម្បត្ដិផ្ទាលខ្លួន កាប់សម្លាប់ ប្រជាជន ដុតផ្ទះសំបែង បង្ខំប្រជាជនឱ្យចូលបក្សកុម្មុយនីស្ដឥណ្ឌូ- ចិន។ សាមុីខ្លួនបានបញ្ជាក់ថា ឈ្លបភាគច្រើនត្រូវគេបង្ខំឱ្យធ្វើ ចំណែកទឹកចិត្ដនៅតែគាំទ្ររបបសាធារណរដ្ឋដដែល។
