Khieun Aon, alias An, disappeared. Interviewed with his 42-year-old younger sister, Khieu Yeang; Aon៌s father was Khieu Nhim and mother was Chuon Yorn. Aon has 7 siblings, and he was born in Veal village, Samrong sub-district, Prey Chhor district, Kampong Cham province. When he was a child, Aon studied until grade 10 [in the old sysem] at Wat Chas primary school. After leaving school, he came to help his parents. It was in 1973 that Aon volunteered to join the revolution as a KR soldier in Zone 41 in Prey Chhor district. At that time, there was a war between KR soldiers and Lon Nol៌s soldiers. In 1975, it៌s heard that Aon was assigned to work in Phnom Penh because he came to visit home and told this. It was after returning that Aon has disappeared until now and there was no information about him. Yeang, during the Khmer Rouge regime, was assigned as a medical staff in Samrong commune. She was then assigned to mobile work brigade in order to carry earth and build dams. It was very difficult, and there wasn៌t enough food to eat. Yeang witnessed militiamen captured people and put in the horse-cart, but she didn៌t know where these people were taken to. When the Vietnamese soldiers marched into Cambodia in 1979, Yeang ran to return to her home village and has earned a living as a farmer.
ខៀវ អុន ហៅ អាន បាត់ខ្លួន ជួបជាមួយឈ្មោះ ខៀវ យាង អាយុ៤២ឆ្នាំ ត្រូវជាប្អូនស្រី។ អុន មានឪពុកឈ្មោះ ខៀវ ញឹម ម្ដាយឈ្មោះ ជួន យ៉ន មានបងប្អូន៧នាក់ មាន ស្រុកកំណើត នៅភូមិវាល ឃុំសំរោង ស្រុកពៃ្រឈរ ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ អុន កាលពីតូចរៀននៅសាលា បឋមសិក្សាវត្ដចាស់ ត្រឹមថ្នាក់ទី១០ឪចាស់ឱ។ អុន ឈប់រៀនមកជួយធ្វើការងារឪពុកម្ដាយ នៅឆ្នាំ ១៩៧៣ បានស្ម្រ័គចិត្ដចូលធ្វើជាយោធាខែ្មរក្រហម នៅស្រុកពៃ្រឈរតំបន់៤១ កាលនោះធ្វើសង្គ្រាម ជាមួយទាហាន លន់ នល់។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ បានដឹងថា ធ្វើការនៅទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញ ព្រោះ អុន ធ្លាប់ មកលេងផ្ទះម្ដង ពេលត្រឡប់ទៅវិញបាត់ ខ្លួនរហូតមិនដែលបានទទួលដំណឹងអីទេ។ យាង កាលជំនាន់ ខែ្មរក្រហមបានធ្វើជាពេទ្យឃុំសំរោង ក្រោយមកអង្គការបានដកមក នៅកងចល័តវិញ ការងាររែកដី លើកទំនប់ ការងារលំបាក ណាស់ហើយហូបចុកមិនគ្រប់គ្រាន់ ហើយធ្លាប់ឃើញ កងឈ្លបចាប់មនុស្ស ដាក់តាមរទេះសេះមិនដឹងជាយក ទៅខាងណាទេ។ យាង នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩ វៀតណាមចូលមកបានរួច ខ្លួនវិញត្រឡប់មកស្រុកកំណើតសព្វថៃ្ងប្រកបរបរធ្វើស្រែចម្ការ។
