A source reported that on December 8, 1971, about 30 Khmer Viet Cong Armed Forces came to mingle with local people in Rolang Ken village at VT 644-641, Rolang Ken commune, Kandal Stung district. Another source reported that about 200 North Yuon Viet Congs settled in Stung Angkor forest at VT, Roka Khpuos commune, Sa ang district, Kandal province.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី០៨ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ ពួកខ្មែរ យៀកកុងប្រហែល៣០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃបានមកបង្កប់ខ្លួន ជាមួយអ្នកស្រុកនៅភូមិរលាំងកែន ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ៦៤៤-៦៤១ ក្នុងឃុំរលាំងកែន ស្រុកកណ្ដាលស្ទឹង។ ប្រភពមួយទៀតផ្ដល់មកថា យៀកកុងយួនខាងជើងប្រហែលជា២០០នាក់ ចូលមកតាំង នៅក្នុងព្រៃស្ទឹងអង្គរ ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៦៤៤-៦៤១ ក្នុងឃុំរកាខ្ពស់ ស្រុកស្អាង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។
