A source reported that on December 20, 1971, Khmer Viet Cong and North Yuon Viet Cong Armed Forces departed from Trapeang Sla and Prey Lvea village, Preah Nipean commune, Kong Pisey district, Kampong Speu province, then deployed in Ra Luos village from at VT 743-630 to VT 745-630, and in a forest near a small river at VT 755-630 and at 755-636 in Daem Rus commune, Kandal Stung district, Kandal province. They aimed to destroy Kampong Tuol bridge at VT 787-637 again.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់ព័ត៌មានមកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃ២០ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ ខ្មែរ យៀកកុង និងយួនខាងជើងប្រហែល២០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធ គ្រប់ដៃ បានធ្វើដំណើរចេញពីភូមិត្រពាំងស្លា និងព្រៃល្វា ក្នុងឃុំព្រះ និព្វាន្ដ ស្រុកគងពិសី ខេត្ដកំពង់ស្ពឺ មករាយគ្នាក្នុងភូមិរលួស ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៧៤៣-៦៣០ ដល់វ៉េតេ ៧៤៥-៦៣០ និងក្នុងព្រៃតាមដងស្ទឹង ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៧៥៥-៦៣០ និង ៧៥៥-៦៣៦ ក្នុងឃុំដើមឬស ស្រុកកណ្ដាលស្ទឹង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ប្រភពបានបន្ថែមទៀតថា ពួកខ្មាំងមានបំណងបំផ្លាញស្ពានកំពង់ទួល ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៧៨៧-៦៣៧ ជាថ្មីម្ដងទៀត។
