A source reported that on June 13, 1973, about 200 Khmer Rebel Armed Forces, moved through National Road No. 06 at UV 453-955, situated in Eastern of Prey Chrouk commune office, Puok district, Siem Reap province. On June 14, 1973, about 300 Khmer Rebel Armed Forces passed National Road 6 at UV 353-979 to Southwest of Ro Hal village. Those enemies attempted to smash Battambang town.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៣ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរ -ឧទ្ទាមប្រហែល២០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធបានឆ្លងកាត់ផ្លូវជាតិ លេខ៦ ខាងកើតសាលាឃុំព្រៃជ្រូក ត្រង់អ៊ុយវ៉េ ៤៥៣-៩៥៥ ក្នុងឃុំព្រៃជ្រូក ស្រុកពួក ខេត្ដសៀមរាប។ ប្រភពបានបន្ថែមថា កាលពីថ្ងៃ១៤ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមចំនួនប្រហែល៣០០ នាក់ បានឆ្លងផ្លូវជាតិលេខ៦ ត្រង់អ៊ុយវ៉េ ៣៥៣-៩៧៩ សំដៅទៅ ទិសខាងត្បូងឈៀងខាងលិចភូមិរហាល។ ប្រភពបញ្ជាក់ថា ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាម នេះមានគោលបំណងនឹងវាយប្រហារក្រុងបាត់ដំបង។
