Suon Bo, alias Ret, male, age 43 and he was born in Ta Ream village, Chrey Vien sub-district, Prey Chhor district, Kampong Cham province. Bo៌s father was Uch Sy and mother was Im. Bo has 7 siblings [3 girls + 4 boys]. When he was a child, Bo studied until grade 10 [in the old system] at Prey Torting primary school. It was in 1973 that Bo volunteered to join the revolution because of his brother Lien who brought him to join and because the rear battlefield was more difficult than the front battlefield. When first joining, Bo was assigned as a logistic soldier in Kampong Siem district, transporting rice and milled rice to store in the forest in order to support soldiers when waging a war and fighting with Lon Nol៌s soldiers. At that time, the attacks were both land and bombardments by airplanes. At that time, both sides៌ soldiers got injured seriously. The chief of the 1st division was Oeun and the chief of logistic unit in division 310 was Bin. It was in 1974 that there was a target to march into Phnom Penh until getting the victory on April 17, 1975. People had to be evacuated so hurriedly that the city was completely quiet; in addition, there were only Khmer Rouge cadres living in the city. There were houses in which no one lived. At that time, Lon Nol៌s soldiers who were defeated were arrested and killed by Angkar near Prek Kdam. At that time, Angkar used a speaker at Prek Kdam ferry to announce that "Please, all brothers and sisters who were former Lon Nol soldiers came to register in order to be able to work again; however, they were finally put in the trucks in order to be killed
សួន បូរ ហៅ រ៉េត ភេទប្រុស អាយុ៤៣ឆ្នាំ មានស្រុកកំណើត នៅភូមិតារាម ឃុំជៃ្រវៀន ស្រុកពៃ្រឈរ ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ បូរ មានឪពុកឈ្មោះ អ៊ុច ស៊ី ម្ដាយឈ្មោះ អីម មានបងប្អូន៧នាក់ ស្រី៣ប្រុស៤។ បូរ កាលពីតូចរៀនបានត្រឹមថ្នាក់ទី១០ឪចាស់ឱ នៅសាលាបឋម សិក្សាពៃ្រទទឹង។ បូរ បានស្ម័គ្រចិត្ដចូល ជាយោធាខែ្មរក្រហមនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ដោយមានបងឈ្មោះ លាន ជាអ្នកនាំចូល ព្រោះនៅសមរភូមិក្រោយពិបាកជាងខាងមុខ។ ចូលដំបូងនៅស្រុកកំពង់សៀម មានតួនាទីជាភស្ដុភា ដឹកស្រូវ អង្ការយកទៅទុកក្នុងពៃ្រ ដើម្បីផ្គត់ផ្គង់ឱ្យកងទ័ពពេលធ្វើសង្គ្រាម វាយជា មួយទាហាន លន់ នល់ កាលនោះវាយថេ្មីជើងផងមាន យន្ដហោះទម្លាក់គ្រាប់បែកផង កាលនោះ យោធាទាំងសងខាង រងគ្រោះខ្លាំងណាស់ ប្រធានកងពលទី១ឈ្មោះ អឿន ហើយ ប្រធានភស្ដុភាកង ពល៣១០ឈ្មោះ ប៊ិន។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ មានទឹសដៅវាយចូលមកទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញរហូតបានទទួលជ័យ ជំន្នះនៅថៃ្ងទី១៧មេសាឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ ប្រជាជនត្រូវបានជម្លៀស ចេញទាំងអស់ ទីក្រុងស្ងាត់មានតែ កម្មាភិបាលរស់នៅ មានផ្ទះ អត់មនុស្សនៅ ហើយកាលនោះទាហាន លន់ នល់ ដែលចាញ់ហើយ អង្គការចាប់ខ្លួនយកទៅសម្លាប់ចោលនៅព្រែកក្ដាម កាលនោះ អង្គការដាក់មេក្រូប្រកាសនៅកំពង់ ចម្លងព្រែកក្ដាមថា បងប្អូន ណាធ្លាប់ធ្វើទាហាន លន់ នល់ ឱ្យមកចុះឈ្មោះធ្វើការវិញ តែទីបញ្ចប់ ហៅឡើងរថយន្ដយកទៅសម្លាប់ចោលសោះ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ បូរ នៅកងពល៣១០ជិតវត្ដភ្នំ ប្រធានកង ពលឈ្មោះ អឿន ស្នាក់នៅជិតពេទ្យចិន។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៧ ប្រធានកងពលឈ្មោះ អឿន ត្រូវចាប់ខ្លួន ព្រមទាំងប្រធាន វរសេនាធំវរសេនាតូចជាច្រើននាក់ទៀត ដោយសារអង្គការ ចោទថា ក្បត់។ នៅសល់យុទ្ធជនគ្មានឋានៈជាច្រើនពាន់នាក់ត្រូវ អង្គការបញ្ជូនឱ្យទៅព្រលានយន្ដហោះនៅខេត្ដ កំពង់ឆ្នាំង ដើម្បី លត់ដុំខ្លួន។ នៅចុងឆ្នាំ១៩៧៧ បូរ មានឋានៈជាប្រធាន វរសេនាតូចត្រូវបាន អង្គការដកឱ្យទៅព្រំដែនវៀតណាម ព្រោះកាលនោះសង្គ្រាមបានកើតឡើងរវាងប្រទេសកម្ពុជានិង ប្រទេសវៀតណាម កាលនោះកងពល ៣១០ បានដូរមក កងពល២០៧វិញ ប្រធានកងពលឈ្មោះ ញ៉។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩ បូរ បានរត់មករកស្រុកកំណើតវិញ មកដល់ផ្ទះពុកម្ដាយ ស្លាប់ជំនាន់ខែ្មរក្រហម អស់ នៅសល់បងប្អូនសាច់ញាតិខ្លះ ហើយ បូរបានរៀនការនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩ ប្រកបរបរធ្វើស្រែ ចម្ការ។
