A source reported that on June 17, 1973, about 100 North Yuon Viet Congs equipped modern weapons and wearing peaked caps with a red star travelled by canoe passed Tonle Sap came to stay at UV 700-270 and UV735-269 in Dei Ro Neat village, Kampong Kanlong commune, Bakan district. The canoes also contained fishing equipment.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់ថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៧ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ យៀកកុងយួនខាងជើងចំនួន១០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធទំនើបពាក់មួក ដោយមានផ្កាយពណ៌ក្រហមនៅចំពីមុខ បានធ្វើដំណើរតាមកាណូត កាត់ទនេ្លសាបមកស្នាក់នៅភូមិដីរនាត អ៊ុយវ៉េ ៧០០-២៧០ រហូត ទល់អ៊ុយវ៉េ ៧៣៥-២៦៩ ក្នុងឃុំកំពង់កន្លុង ស្រុកបាកាន ជា ពិសេសនៅក្នុងកាណូតដែលខ្មាំងជិះមានប្រដាប់ប្រដារនេសាទត្រីទៀតផង។
