A source reported that on December 14, 1971, about 400 North Yuon Viet Congs equipped wiht heavy artilleries moved from Chhork Kra Sang village at VT 697-837 defense armed forces at VT 746-831 in Khnom village, Pon Sang commune, Ang Snuol district, Kandal province. In addition, about 150 North Yuon Viet Cong Armed Forces, came to a position at VT 737-659 in Anglong Svay village, Bort Lvea commune, Kandal Stung district, Kandal province.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់ព័ត៌មានមកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃ១៤ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ ខ្មាំង យៀកកុងខាងជើងប្រហែល៤០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃ ពិសេសមានកាំភ្លើងធុនធ្ងន់ទៀតផងបានចេញពីភូមិឆក់ក្រសាំង ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៦៩៧-៨៣៧ មកភូមិព្រៃស្នួល ត្រង់វ៉េ ៧៣៣-៨២៩ ដើម្បីមកវាយប្រហារកងការពារជាតិដែលនៅប្រចាំការនៅភូមិខ្នំ ត្រង់ វេតេ ៧៤៦-៨៣១ ក្នុងឃុំពន្សាំង ស្រុកអង្គស្នួល ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ប្រភពបានបន្ថែមទៀតថា យៀកកុងយួនខាងជើងប្រហែលជា១៥០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃបានចូលមកតាំងទីជម្រកនៅភូមិអន្លង់ស្វាយ ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៧៣៧-៦៥៩ ក្នុងឃុំបត់ល្វា ស្រុកកណ្ដាលស្ទឹង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។
