Pen Thet, male, disappeared. Interviewed with his 54-year-old elder brother Pen Et; Thet៌s father was Pen Phen and mother was Miech Torn; in addition, he has 3 siblings and was born in Ampil Thom village, Khvet Thom sub-district, Prey Chhor district, Kampong Cham province. When he was a child, Thet didn៌t go to school. When he grew up, he came to help his parents tend cows and farm in rice field. It was in 1970 that Thet volunteered to join the revolution as a Khmer Rouge soldier in Prey Chhor through his friends, Sul, Khoeun, and Khorn living in the village. When first joining the revolution, Thet was sent to attend the whole military tactics, and was assigned to the front battlefield in order to fight with Lon Nol៌s soldiers. It was in 1975 that it៌s seen Thet came to visit home for the first time, and he told that every day he was assigned to be stationed and work in transportation in Ministry of Logistics in Phnom Penh. After returning, Thet disappeared and there was no information about him. Before 1975, Angkar assigned Et as a militiaman, walking to ask people hens in order to support soldiers in the front battlefield. When the Khmer Rouge took control all over the country in 1975, Et went to live with his wife in Chrey Vien sub-district and was assigned by Angkar to farm in rice field at 1 April Dam in Chrey Vien sub-district. While coming back home, Et heard a sound of beating people but dare not peek what was being doing. In the morning, Et saw a buried track appearing hands and legs of victims, and he then learned that people were really taken to be beaten to death. In the Khmer Rouge regime, everything was destroyed even a pagoda by not allowing people to respect the religions; in addition, people were forced to overwork and ate only rice gruel. In cooperatives, people were rarely given cook rice to eat while some fell ill and died, especially 17 April people. It was in 1979 that Et has reunited and lived with his wife and children, earning a living as a farmer.

ក្នុងភូមិជាមួយគ្នា មានឈ្មោះ ស៊ុល ឈ្មោះ ឃឿន ឈ្មោះ ឃន។ ពេលចូលដំបូងបានហាត់ក្បួនយោធាចប់ អង្គការបញ្ជូនទៅ សមរភូមិមុខ វាយជាមួយទាហាន លន់ នល់។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ ឃើញ ថេត មកលេងផ្ទះបានម្ដង រួចបានប្រាប់ថា រាល់ថៃ្ងធ្វើការនៅច្រាំងចំរេះ ខាងដឹកជញ្ជូន នៅក្រសួងភស្ដុភា ភ្នំពេញ។ ពេលត្រឡប់ទៅវិញ បាត់ ដំណឹងរហូតមិនដែលបាន លិចឮដំណឹងអីទេ។ អេត មុនឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ អង្គការចាត់តាំងឱ្យធ្វើកងឈ្លប ដើរសុំមាន់ សុំអង្ការប្រជាជន ដើម្បីផ្គត់ផ្គង់ យាធានៅសមរភូមិមុខ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ ពេលខែ្មរក្រហម ឡើងកាន់អំណាចទូទាំងប្រទេស អេត បានទៅរស់នៅ ខាងប្រពន្ធនៅឃុំជៃ្រវៀន អង្គការចាត់តាំងឱ្យធ្វើ ស្រែនៅទំនប់ ១មេសា នៅឃុំជៃ្រវៀន ពេលប្រលប់ដើរមកផ្ទះវិញ បានឮ សមេ្លងវាយមនុស្សចោល ឮផូងៗ តែមិនហ៊ានលបមើលទេ ពេលភ្លឺឡើងឃើញស្នាមកប់ចេញជើងដៃ បានដឹងថាយប់មិញមាន វាយមនុស្សចោលមែន។ នៅជំនាន់ខែ្មរក្រហមសូម្បីតែ ព្រះវិហារក៏វាយចោលដែលមិនឱ្យគោរព សាសនាទេ ប្រជាជនធ្វើការងារធ្ងន់ហូបតែបបរនៅតាមសហករណ៍កម្រ បានបាយណាស់ មានប្រជាជន ឈឺហើយស្លាប់ ជាពិសេសអ្នក ១៧មេសា។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩ អេត បានរស់នៅជួបជុំប្រពន្ធកូន វិញ ប្រកករបរធ្វើស្រែចម្ការ។ |
